“Broken thermostat tab”

Received thermostat as promised. The locating tab on the back of the thermostat was broken off and missing from the packaging. The tab is used to keep the thermostat from spinning around in the housing.
Item works, but I really should have sent it back to get a replacement, but needed it to fix the grill for an event.
