This unusual "tube" bulb provides a large safety and performance improvement to a 1930s "Doan" Luminaire Lamp. For 80 years the lamp has operated at high temperature due to the elegant design and internal bulb design. This LED bulb design allows it to provide the same soft light the designer intended without the heat. Good for another 80 years. Thanks
