I booked a reservation for a resort in Marco Island, FL months before our stay. We were going on July 26,2019. A few days before my stay, I received the infamous "embezzlement" scheme email stating that my reservation may have been cancelled. It was cancelled and the resort was sold out for the dates of my stay. Again, this was in July. How is it the Hotel Power is STILL as of 9/1/19, allowing people to "book" hotels from them? If there was a legitimate case of embezzlement, there wouldn't be additional cases, right? I knew the email itself was a fraud when each email I received gave a different confirmation number. I will be taking legal action and am interested in filing a class action lawsuit.
