StudySoup is awful, they charge $133 for a year long membership (with a supposed discount) and charge you immediately for the whole year, not month by month and then, when you want to go look at the notes on the website uploaded by other students or ¨elite notetakers¨ you have to pay for them with something called ¨karma points¨. So they make you pay more in addition to the $133 you just paid to have access to this website. You have to buy the karma points as well. With my membership, i bought it and decided only minutes later that I would not be using this service ever again because it is cheating and emailed the company to get a refund for my money seeing as that I had just purchased my membership and should be able to get my money back. The people responded by saying that they would not be giving me a refund for anything and that they have the right to deny a refund that is written in their policy. The company just steals from students who already don´t have that much money and never give any of the money back. I am extremely disappointed in the company and would recommend this service to nobody. Its disgusting how they continue to steal from their customers without remorse.
