Given all the misinformation on the internet, this is a great tool to check websites that purport to be reporting on the news. Unfortunately many websites on both the left and right (e.g., Vox, HuffPost, Breitbart, Drudge Report) mix opinion, blog writing and purported news reports without clear identification of what is supposed to be factual original and sourced reporting. These sites often lack institutional procedures to fact check and ensure reliable sources for actual "news" articles.

This has become my go-to search engine for medical and health information. The results are denon reputable or reliable websites and avoids sites created only to market a product with fake reviews or written by anti-science types.

The search engine has options for education, medical, or general web. The education mode offers information about the grade level and other helpful filters. It is great for students. The medical and web modes also provide great results from reliable sites.
