They are only concerned with the big money now...

Okay, the pies are still very yummy, BUT...

If you want them delivered, they charge an arm and a leg for shipping; It takes two days to process, and then another 3-5 bus. Days to ship. Also, they don't ship on Fri-Sun, so, if you have a client/loved one you would like to ship a pie to and you think of it at say, 5pm on Thursday- you can't even get the ball rolling till Monday 9am- and did I mention arm/leg?

Now here's the kicker! In the gift card message area that you've just paid through the nose for, is a bunch of shipping information that is crammed in next to your well thought out message, all in the same font, and very small and insignificant- the recipient can't even tell who it's from unless they closly examine all the print on the big obnoxious adress label.

My clients and loved ones were always thrilled to get a Julian Pie, but, I always had to follow up like a child fishing for compliments- "How did you like the Pie? Ya, I sent that..."

If you pay $30 - $40 for a pie, you damn well want the recipient to know who sent it!

After three years of loyal patronage and repeated attempts to get them to understand the significance of this dilemma/oversight, and after three years of them saying "Oh really?" Like it's the first time they've heard it, I've given up. I can't in good faith to myself, continue on in this abusive relationship.

I mean, I ordered/sent probably 20 pies a year, and bought just as many for my immediate family at the local markets; and if anyone came to town, a trip to Julian was always a popular choice- another 5-10 pies there, plus how many of these people did I turn into online shoppers: "Hey, remember that pie John sent us, let's order one..."

It's like I'm a nobody, and of course, that's what I/we are to them now- they have multiple contracts with several large grocery outlets, and their down-home/small town ethics are all gone. 10 - 20 pies is nothing to them nowadays- 'who cares if your potential client can't read who sent the pie, it was the thought that counts, right?' "Wrong!"

A simple considerate request from a loyal customer, overlooked because of the economies of scale. Time and again, this attitude signals the beginning of the end for product quality- sadly, Julian Pie Co. Is only about the quantity now.

I would write a nice review if everything was running smooth like these other satisfied costumers.

I paid for the $49 service (up to 2G). When I sign in, it says "okay, all done." Then, when I try to upload, it says, "that's a pretty big file, blah, blah, blah...!" It directs me to sign up again!

I try to contact their office and they have Mon-Fri hours only- so it says if you would like to leave a message..., press three for costumer service" So, when you do that, it just runs through a list of common problems, none of which pertain to this, and then it disconnects- no where to leave a message! Oh, and the live chat doesn't work either- isn't that special!

If they can't even employ people on the weekend, or outside of business hours to answer costumer service calls/emails, they do not understand what costumer service is- they are doing the bare minimum- quite pathetic!
