I acquired a car from this organisation that
Has proven less than roadworthy and quite
Unsafe with a suspect MOT. The car failed a
Second MOT carried out soon after purchase
Even though the seller passed it. The reasons
For failure primarily relate to corroding
Brake pipes. Upon re-test after work was
Completed, it passed but with a long list of
Advisory items that needed to be dealt with.
Following this the car began to leak
Transmission fluid quite badly and it was at
This point that I returned the vehicle to a
Reputable dealer and instructed them to get
The car to the correct road worthy standard
And deal with the advisory elements. This
Work has now been completed at the cost shown
Of £1246. 34 of which I am claiming. Most
Importantly the key works necessary to bring
The car to standard were braking and steering
Related, fundamental to safety - Seller put
My daughter at risk when selling the car in
This state. Requests to the seller to
Reasonably pay for works have been rejected
And unable to settle without this action.
