Never really take the time to review online websites, but i felt I should leave one for this site (www.hollisterusa.org) just to help anyone in limbo about purchasing something from them due to the lack of reviews. Having done a search for Hollister outlet clothing through Google, this was one of the first 3 or 4 sites that came up. Now I generally take that as a good sign, as I'm sure most of you do, but not an absolute recommendation. Having viewed the website all looks good, it even has the same layout (dudes and bettys), and even the same model as the normal Hollister (non-outlet) site. I scoured the site, having a more than average (IMO!) understanding of whats good and whats not. Having been relatively happy, i decided to proceed with a purchase of a ladies jacket for around $100 dollars total. This included shipping at around $23 dollars, which I found to be steep, and you werent given this shipping cost until after you had decided to buy an item, which obviously sets alarm bells ringing slightly. However, looking for a bargain and prepared to take a risk I went ahead with it and (I wont say sat back) eased back into may chair anxiously, awaiting arrival. A week went by and nothing, so I asked for details of the delivery (I'm from the UK but this was going to my GF in California), a tracking number and a log of my parcels journey was sent via email, which to be fair, I found very helpful. However, it confirmed that the parcels origin was China, which immediately gets me worried. But I continued to wait, and a week later (around 2 weeks total), the package arrived. Yay i hear you say, but having opened it, it was: The wrong jacket (albeit only slightly), a slightly different colour, the correct size, and an Abercrombie and Fitch Jacket instead of hollister. Now I know they are the same company, and I like to think that they've replaced it as close as they can because it was out of stock (and I appreciate A&F is a little more expensive than hollister), but its not what I ordered. Its too much hassle to send back to china, and the jackets very nice and good quality, so we've decided to keep it. But thats my choice and may not be yours so I decided to write this very extensive(!) review because people should know that this may not be the most trustworthy site in the world!. Hope it helps...
