None of the user-submitted questions are ever vetted for validity, which can cost you a tournament. I lost by a single point for (not) getting a question wrong, and had no way of challenging it (besides simply pointing out that the question was incorrectly scored, which does nothing to your score). They have no appeals process, whatsoever. All of the "contact us" links are circular and do not bring you to contact an admin. The only pre-constructed answer they provided regarding inquiries about a scoring dispute is the following from their site:

Sorry, but we are not able to alter scores to fix this type of situation. Just imagine if our internet connection hiccups and we had to change the scores of thousands of players! It simply is not practical.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and may you have better luck next time!

That's it? Just a flippant "too bad, so sad!" reply?
It's clear they don't care about making this a great site, and I'm BEYOND thankful that I wasn't stupid enough to ever give them any of my money for any of their "premium features" (including the privilege of being $20 lighter in the wallet).
For a great alternative mass trivia site, just go to Sporcle.com - at least it's run by competent people there.
