I looked around for a set of wheels and tires and went with wheelfire despite good experiences with tire rack in the past. The wheels - well, they are fine and just what i ordered. Why wouldnt they be... tires, they develop flat spots when sitting for 12 hours or more, certainly not wheelfires fault but i would never buy falkens again and would stick with contis or goodyear. I ordered my wheel/ tire package online. Seemed ez enough and included a $100 discount. Called back the next day as i did not see the tpms on the online order status - my fault. Someone there took my order and said no problem. I guess they could not add the charge to the original paypal sale so i got a call about making payment within a couple hours. In of itself that is not a problem however that is the only time they ever called me that quickly - cause they wanted the money. I was told within 10 days my package would ship and i would get an email with tracking info. I was not too worried about the sale going out by 10 days as i was mounting myself and weather was still bad here in the northeast. But about 10 days in i checked my online account - there was none. So i immediately called and was told their server was hacked and that info was gone. It also never went back up. Luckily i printed copies while it was still available. Also had my paypal receipt. I was told no important customer info was leaked. Asked about my order which i had been told to expect delivery already. Was told they would check and call back... of course they never called. Gave em several days and i called them. Turns out the distributor they thought they were getting the wheels from did not have them. Guess if i hadnt called they never would have realized this until i did - piss poor follow up and logistics. I was told no problem they would get else where. I told them that is ok just keep me in the loop. Surprise! They didn't. 10 days later i am calling them again. Guess what, they still did not have the wheels and couldn't get them from the second distributor either. So, i am put on hold while they call around and locate two different places that each have a couple wheels. They will order that way and say they should have them and ship the package to me the following wednesday for a friday delivery. I explain to them that again, no sweat, just keep me in the loop as i work for a hospital and cant just call in on Friday to be home to sign for the delivery. "Fred" assures me he will call me when they get the wheels. Another surprise, not really, i get no call but on tuesday i get a fedex email the order is coming friday. Luckily i have taken off friday to be home. Odd that fedex seems to be more concerned about letting me know about the tire and wheels than the company i bought them from... thanks fedex! On Friday i get three wheels with tires by 9am and the last one shows up in a different ruck at 4pm. Cant install until saturday and did it in the rain. Not wheelfires fault - wait, yes it is was, cause it took them over a month to get me my order and only then because i called them twice to see where in the hell it was! That is not an ez experience. Here is the kicker(S) - i was missing one of the center caps. Took amost 4 weeks to get that and several phone calls - no surprise. I also had to contact paypal and start a dispute because they never gave me the 100 discount. They moved relatively quick once they got word there was a dispute - and, surprise, contacted me about ending it right away. REALLY! Additionally, none of the hamaton tpms had ever been programmed with the info for my vehicle. They were installed blank. I checked 4 places by me none of them could help me due to the brand hamaton. When i called wheelfire they said AGAIN, no problem - yeah, it is a problem. They tell me they will have hamaton contact me and figure out how to solve the issue, they never said they were not programmed but told me dont worry hamaton is geat to work with and worse case scenario they will loan me a unit to have my car learn the tpms they installed. Here is a real surprise... no one from hamaton ever contacts me either - hamaton or wheelfire?. A week later i call hamaton and the tech says they should be programmed but he will add me to the loaner program and i will get a loaner unit in a week to week and a half. Of course i never do. Ended up buying one on the cheap from ebay and calling them back to assist with cloning my old one, which luckily i still had, and then programming that to the new ones. It is too bad. Never got nasty or mad with these guys just asked to be kept in the loop and treated right. They simply could not do it. Cant recommend doing business with them as it is not worth the aggravation nor the time for the savings you will reap. Certainly NOT EZ like they advertise on the site. You can find the same stuff elsewhere for just a little bit more. Too bad cause now that it is summer i am getting a new wheel tire set for my vette and my daughters vw. Look to tire rack or victoria tire - had fault less service from both of them in the past
