I started working at StudyDaddy.com in Late November 2019 as a tutor. I started biding for jobs like any other freelancing website. I was successful in winning ten jobs during the first week of December 2019. I completed the jobs successfully, and some clients completed some of the jobs and left some ratings. After the clients had completed the jobs, I went to check my balance. I was very shocked to see my available balance is still zero: I had to shoot a message to the support since it was weird. Before I started working, I had read the terms and conditions for StadyDaddy.com. The FAQ page stated that payments should be released immediately to the tutors if the clients complete the jobs and leave a rating. When I contacted the support team, they told me that my money should be available for request in 10 days. Here is the response from the support team:
After the support team's response, I relaxed and waited for ten days to elapse. Ten days were now over, and still, the available balance is zero. I sent them another message StudyDaddy.com support told me the money would be available the following day. Here is the message from them:
I had to wait for the next morning like the support had told me. When the following day reached, I check my available balance and still, it was zero. I wrote another message to support. They gave a shocking message that all payments have to undergo 45 days hold period. I was very disappointed since they had been lying from the beginning so that I could work for them. I wrote them a message, but it didn't change anything. Here is a screenshot of the message from the same support that had said the money would be available in 10 days. Now it's 45 days.
I have never seen a website such kind of lies or unprofessionalism since I started working as a freelancer. When I realized they have been lying to me, I went online to research about their reviews later to find they have SCAMMED many writers. Here are some of the reviews:
From the above screenshot, you can see one of their writers said he or she hadn't been paid around $1600 even after working for them. I think the review got their attention and just below the review StudyDaddy.com support responding, showing the tutor how they are sorry about the issue, and they are the same people who refused to pay the writer. They are even asking for the tutor ID. I decided to wait for 45 days even after reading several reviews from various websites. 2 days to 45 days, I sent a message to the support asking them how long it will take to receive my money to my Paypal account after sending a request. The first time the support said they couldn't tell. I sent another message about the same, and they told me it would take a maximum of 7 days. Here are my screenshots
I had also told them I had seen their reviews online, and they are terrible. You can see the support told me that I shouldn't be worried I will get paid as soon as possible. And they would try their best to correct all the issues addressed online.
From the screenshots, I told them that I know they usually tell tutors that their payment systems are down, and some of the tutors have to wait for two months. My question for them today is: Is it StudyDaddy.com sending money or money is sent through PayPal accounts. Also For all the 45 days, they don't know they will be their tutors, and it's not okay to keep their money for all that long and then experience some delay?
After around 48 days, I had a balance of $120 available for request. I sent a request to withdraw the amount and notified the support. StudyDaddy.com support said the same thing that I should expect the money not later than seven days. Here is the screenshot.
I didn't give up at this time. I encouraged myself that if I had waited for 45 days, seven days wouldn't be a big deal. Four days down the line I had another balance available for withdrawing, I also sent the request for withdrawal. Now I was waiting for two transactions. After seven days were over, I didn't get my payment like advised by the support I sent them several messages on the 8th day and no one cared to reply. Here are the screenshots:
They didn't answer my three messages. On the 9th day, that is when they replied to me, showing me how they are shocked and the seven days were not over. I told them seven days were over, and they didn't respond to my message. Here is the screenshot.
You can see they were pretending that they didn't know seven days were over. If they didn't know, I can't blame them for that because human is to error. Then why doesn't the system inform them that I am supposed to be paid? Why can't the system or them send me a message concerning the update of my payment even after seven days elapsed? Advice to me is WHEN YOU STUDYDADDY STEAL MONEY FROM TUTORS PLEASE INVEST IT TO YOUR WEBSITE SO THAT THE SYSTEM PROCESSES THE PAYMENT OR NOTIFIES THE TUTORS ABOUT THEIR PAYMENTS. When I sent a payment request, I didn't receive an email from their system saying that my payment was scheduled. What kind of a system is that even after scamming all those tutors? STYLE UP AND UPGRADE YOUR SYSTEMS WHEN YOU STILL FROM TUTORS.
I sent several unanswered messages. Later I sent another message telling the support I know they are reading my messages, and I know they are ignoring them. That is when the StudyDaddy.com Support replied to me saying that my funds had been delayed by one day. When they told me that, I was furious, and I responded by telling them that I will expose them to other tutors and clients. That is when they responded and said that they would sue me if I did that. My question to them is why am I not supposed to sue them for failing to pay me like they said, For lying to me several times and sabotaging my plans? Here are the screenshots;
From the above screenshots, the StudyDaddy.com support said my withdrawal had been rescheduled for the next payment Cycle. My questions are for 45 days what were they doing with the money that makes it a big deal to pay their tutors? Were they gambling with the tutor's money? Or were they been investing so that they get profits using the tutor's money? Or were they using the tutor's money for Forex trading?
After several messages, the support team banned my account. I think they banned it so that they couldn't pay me my money. Or what do you think why? Was asking for my payment doing a wrong thing? I worked for that money, and I am supposed to be paid on time. Check this.
Message to the Tutors
Avoid StudyDaddy.com if you don't want to get frustrated like me. I have shown you all the evidence now. It's up to you to choose if you're going to work with them. If you didn't know about that, do your research online and share this article widely. Together let's bring the site down. Share with their customers, Google officials, Paypal, Banks, Reporters, Bloggers and everyone. Let them pay for what they have done to many tutors. StudyDaddy.com support work is to sit down and wait for us their slaves to work for them, and then in return, they don't pay us. They don't know what tutors undergo to deliver the work, and they are just there playing with our payments.
Message to the Customers
Avoid StudyDaddy.com because they have scammed my tutors who have worked for you. You might not be affected, but in the long run, you will be affected because the tutors will retaliate and share your content, and therefore it will get plagiarized. Why work with scammers, whereas you can get the same services from other serious and professional websites? Share this article widely after reading the tutor reviews online.
Message to StudyDaddy.com
Value your tutors, and you will get for work completed on time. Honor your terms and conditions that you created your selves. Stop lying to both tutors and clients. The first account you have lied to the clients on the terms and condition page where you tell them you pay your tutors ten days after the work is completed. This is wrong because I haven't been paid till today 55 days down the line. Here is a screenshot showing the lies you have told the clients.
Stealing from tutors will not make you rich. All the money that you have refused to pay me, I will not be accepted once I upload this article. I will expect all my money and compensation for all the damages that you have caused me before I pull it down. It's up to you: Your fate is in your PayPal account.
