I'd settled on a Honda HRX mower to replace the rock-solid model I loved and had given to my son. Local stores didn't carry it, so I called and talked to a salesperson who confirmed they had it in stock and said it could be returned if there was an issue with it. I ordered online, and THEN my wife said, "What about their reviews". My heart sank as I saw 1.6 stars. I started praying. When it arrived, it 'looked' like a brand new model by the way it was packed, although there was tape falling off of the bottom of the box, which made me start thinking. I added the oil, and new gas, turned on the fuel line, and started pulling. And pulling. And pulling. NOTHING. My confidence evaporated while my grass continued to grow. I called Mowers Direct and was THEN told, sorry, you added fuel; you're stuck with it. Call Honda. So, now my absolutely brand new mower, which hasn't turned over once, is now in the shop. I'm so kicking myself for not researching these guys more, as I would have NOT purchased from them. I guess they're happy as they have my $1000 and all the hassle now on me.
