I am sending Van Plus a copy of this negative review in order and in the hope they might improve, but from their attitude I dont think this is likely. I had to lodge a complaint with the Management of Van Plus about their poor service which was misleading and dishonest. I was quoted a fixed price by Christoph, and telephoned Van Plus twice to confirm my booking a few hours later on the same day, was told that they were open until late. No one at Van Plus got back to me. I contacted the company the following morning, again twice, no one returned my call. I eventually spoke to someone who made several excuses and informed me that my details on their system about my quote was lost. This didnt make sense as Van Plus initially contacted me from the information I provided them through the internet, and Van Plus assured me that my details were stored on their computer. I was then not impressed at the price being £19 more expensive. The person I spoke to, after speaking to their manager, said that my price was promotional (they never told me before that this was promotional) but less than 24 hours later, regardless of them not answering my telephone call, they would not honour their quote and price and now wanted to charge me much more. I've wasted nearly two hours with this company and more time writing this review. Van Plus have not kept to their promise and I cannot recommend Van Plus to anyone. It is a pity that I did not read the other reviews about Van Plus and their shoddy customer service. Christopher
