Don't waste your time and your money, these guys are con artists and scammers. I booked a flight with explore trip one month in advance of the departure date. When I attempted to check in the day of the departure, I was told by the airline explore trip had cancelled my ticket. Explore trip never informed me of why they cancelled the ticket and attempted to tell me they never charged me for the ticket. My bank statement clearly showed that they did in fact charge me despite canceling the ticket which I never requested. They also attempted to tell me the flight was cancelled by the airline, which was not true because my wife was on board the plane. Worst customer service ever, don't get scammed by these guy they will leave you on hold for hours and claim to call you back in order to settle the indifferences.

Though they finally offered the refund in for the originally purchased ticket, in a different currency for that matter, I am still seeking something back for the ticket I had to purchase from the airline on the day I intended to depart for 4x the price of explore trips as it was a last minute ticket purchase. I feel Explore trips negligence as to notifying the customer of the cancelled ticket well in advance when they canceled it warrants a refund for the extra costs paid by myself and other customers that have clearly been put in the same situation. This has happened repeatedly as you can see from other complaints

Philip Brown is allegedly their Escalations customer service agent and he reached out to me after a review I left for them. The first thing he asked me to do was update my review so it was a good rating despite not providing me any customer service at all. The best they could do for the incurred costs was offer a $20 voucher on my next Explore Trip booking while repeatedly apologizing and going through his list of customer service responses starting with 'the fact of the matter is...'. That said I have no intention of booking anything through Explore Trip again. Philip Brown also failed to acknowledge the negligence by Explore Trip and attempted to blame the airline for Explore trips own errors yet still insisted he provided some sort of service to me in good will. Absolute pathetic customer service, avoid these scammers at all costs.

*There are 73 negative complaints and 25 positive ones yet Explore trip still has a A and 3.79 star rating which they proudly show off on their webpage. I'm not sure how BBB's rating system works but with 75% of the reviews being 1 stars it may be time to re-evaluate the rating system. Explore Trip deserves an F and no stars
