If you click the Distribution + Online Exclusivity upgrade button then you enter into an exclusive contract with Threadless. If you want out you have to email them. Then somebody may respond and tell you when your contract is up. I confirmed through email that I do not want to be a part of any exclusive program with Threadless. They confirmed that they would "make that note on the contract so it doesn't renew. It should be active and reflected in your account until it lapses in September of this year." BUT they renewed it anyway.
I suggest you not get involved with this company. I have regretted working with them too many times now. I feel like they have been rude to me as I try to navigate working with them. They have also been careless, unorganized, unprofessional, and the product quality has gone down. No reason to take a risk and enter an exclusive "contract" with this print on demand site. I wish there was more info online about how difficult Threadless is to work with.
