I don't normally write reviews however, this is warranted so that other pet parents are aware. I purchased a medium sized car seat for my mini golden doodle puppy. I followed all the directions and strapped him in the front passenger seat. I went to get something in the house and when I came back to the car, he had moved from the front passenger seat to the back and was whining while hanging from the safety straps, almost chocking himself because he couldn't reach the floor. At first I thought, I missed a step, so after reviewing the directions again and securing the straps, I took a deep breath and went on. A few days later, I went to get him a new leash and tried it on him... I left the new leash attached to the front of the harness while I strapped him into the Wandertails carseat on the back of his harness. I took my kids out of the car and into the house and when I returned to get him, he had moved again from the front passenger seat and was hanging again almost choking. I then contacted the company and after several emails explaining what I had experienced, I sent over a video and photos as requested. They were finally able to open and review them and told me "Thank you for getting in touch with us. Our logistics team has reviewed your issue and informed that there is no issue with the straps. However, to fasten your pet to the car seat we suggest you buy a Pet safety Seat Belt that will secure your pet tightly and keep them safe." So you want me to purchase a Pet safety seat belt to use with your product that is supposed to secure your pet? When I told them that I didn't agree with their assessment and would like a refund, they said I couldn't get one based on their policy and offered me a 20% discount to be used on a future purchase. I told them that I do not plan to purchase anything else from them. So I'm writing this review to make other pet parents aware of this issue so they won't go through this.
