I placed an order with Cosplayshopper for a costume in September. Their website stated that I would be able to receive the costume by Halloween if ordered before the end of September. I placed the order with 4 days to spare given their time frame. Two weeks pass and I get an email stating they wouldn't be able to make their deadline due to high demand and if I wanted a refund I could get one or they could continue to process the order. I was extremely bummed out about hearing that but decided to go ahead and wait. Long story short, I waited a total of 2 months and emailed them asking what has happened to my order. They then told me they had supply issues and it wouldn't be done until the end of the year. If I would have known it was supply issues and not just a high demand of sales I would have just asked for the refund. But instead they decided to keep me in the dark about what was really going on. I decided right then and there I wanted a refund because they lied about what really was causing the delay to my order. They only refunded me $58 out of almost $300 that I paid in full at the beginning of all of this. I will never do business with them ever again! Buyers beware of their shady business tactics. This isn't how you treat customers!
