When I finally found Wicca officially (or did it find me?) on Mabon of all days this year I knew I needed to learn as much as possible about the religion and of witchcraft in general as quickly and efficiently as possible. I'm glad I discovered Wicca Academy! I absolutely love Gina's approach to all topics Wiccan as well as her philosophy, attitude and demeanor. You learn the basic foundations of Wicca with a number of support systems (online courses/quizzes, optional weekly online Coven meetings, frequent articles, horoscopes, etc.) and are encouraged above all to make your Wiccan path your OWN. I started the courses three months ago and plan on finishing the final one (there are about 120 of them) before the new year rings in, thus making me a "3rd Degree Wiccan" at the academy. There are enough courses that you could probably finish them in as short as 6 weeks or take 6 months or longer to finish, though I have found that 3 months has been perfect for me, representing a sort of college semester but in my favorite new subject...witchcraft! If you are looking for some basic structure to get you started in your Wiccan journey or to continue one you have already begun then you should definitely consider joining!
