I ordered some violas, dead nettle, and astilbe bare roots from Jackson and Perkins on June 2nd, my order arrived June 12th. Unfortunately the live plants didn't look good at all, especially the violas. The interior of the plant looked moldy and overall the plants just looked worse for wear from their trip. I reached out to J&P with info and photos as soon as I had received the plants and found them looking so poorly. I was told that their "horticulturalist" thought the plants looked totally fine.
About an hour later I went back out and upon further inspection I discovered 2 of the violas were absolutely covered in aphids. Again I reached out to J&P with my concerns and sent photos. They replied back that they didn't see any bugs whatsoever...
Are you seriously going to tell me you can't see any bugs?!? Wow! I will never order from this unethical business again! They take your money and send the crappiest plants they have. Definitely stay away from them.
