I think it is imperative in todays high tech retail world that a business to survive and thrive must employ the latest marketing tools. Sometime the biggest hurdle a small business owner must overcome is knowing who to work with and who to trust when dealing with all the newest marketing tools that are available. Everyday my senses are overloaded with emails, flyers, telephone calls, cold calls, etc from sales/marketing people who want to "take me to the next level". YourAreaCode.com has done that for us with great support and an easy to use text system that works.

They first give your good quotes for a year. Then out of nowhere they will start charging you for stupid stuff like
you editing your own website, or wanting to ask a question. And they wont let me have admin access to my Facebook or twitter account without paying them over 1000 dollars. Do not trust them use someone local and make sure your are the owner of the website not them.

YAC is what i want to do when i think of this company. They charged me 9 months before the website was up, the website never showed up in any search engines, they never forwarded it to get ranked - appalling? I asked in the beginning and again a year into it to pause this account while these items were attended to. Barely any analytics or other reports that show proof that any traffic was ever generated with this service; either to the website, from the dashboard, wexts, emails or anything else.

Many problems with their site, had to redo our template so many times, each time it takes hours to set up. Instead of coming up with an acceptable solution they wanted me to do more work to try to get there products to work right! They Over Promise and Under Deliver.
Major waste of time, company is deceiving.

Caution, read before you sign up as a client of YOURAREACODE.COM, Was a client of this company, all great in the beginning, they even re-did our website for free. Found most the customer base deleted or blocked after they got the freebies, the ones that didn't delete or block, got annoyed by a text message a week. So we quit with the company after our 1 year contract was finished.

Let the problems begin. Texts with sexually reference partys were sent to our customer base. We had to rebuild a new website with a new domain name, because they won't shut down or give us back our domain name. If you go to the website, the home page looks normal, but click on anything, all it is code.
We are still listed as client in their data base, which makes me think they are trying to look like they have more clients that is actually the case. Time Out 763

The Bucks Club just recently started using Your Area Code for our website and online marketing efforts. Our new website is great and the page editing aspects are very simple and allow us to edit pages on our website whenever we need to. The customer service at your area code is also very helpful. Any questions that I had were quickly answered, and any changes that I had requested for the programmers were rapidly taken care of. Your Area Code has also been a great way of increasing and maintaining our marketing efforts. The email marketing section has been great for not only allowing us to send out marketing campaigns, but also keeping track of what we have done. I would recommend Your Area Code to any business.

I would never do business with this company again. We were fortunate to find a solution for email marketing that wasn't through them, however still was going to use the website. I asked about exporting my database and was told that isn't an option I would have to write them down as he said. He told me they wouldn't invest in a tool that would help customers leave. Those are my emails that I worked for, now you will lose all my business.

After reviewing my sales before and after signing up with YourAreaCode I see a phenomenal improvement. I love everything about it; the text marketing, being able to get in touch with my guests who may not have planned on coming in for dinner but receive my text and come in anyways (it happens all the time and they love to tell my staff how important they feel) as well as the beautiful email campaigns that allow me to show my guests our live music schedule, weekly specials and holiday party information.
