Flight Rising is a fun and exciting game that has a great community! Most users are very kind and helpful, and the forums are a great place to chat with other people! You can do a variety of things on it, and even if you don't have a lot of time, you can just check in, feed your dragons and leave. It doesn't require a lot of time unlike some other games, and I recommend this game to other people!

In the span of about 2 months, I was muted over there about 5 different times, mostly due to the reasons of "this post should rather be sent to customer service". Yet their customer service never actually helped me; when I tried to appeal these mutes, they just gave me a list of moderation actions and a note saying "Appeal denied". Some excerpts from the moderation actions I've been given: - Thread locked for asking if an ad is suitable for reporting, staff have always taken this question as "where do I report offensive ads?" which is not what I've been asking. - Account muted for talking about console homebrew as it "could faciliate piracy", while there was no mention about piracy at all. - Final warning given for asking about a vague requirement that support gave me when I asked about deleting my account.

Even though they go based off of "data" they will still flag your account for multiple accounts like for example, if you have a friend who gifts you things and then stops playing after a while. You will look suspicious according to them and they will not give you your account back. They ignore players and demonize their own player base not only during support tickets but on the forums as well. They do not trust you and never will.

While the game is fun, the Beastclan lore revamp was horribly executed. The new lore feels off. It was intended to remove some references to colonialism, but instead they just made it bland and uninteresting. It feels boring and "politically correct". But if you respectfully say you don't like the new lore as much (without even calling it off or boring), the staff WILL punish you. It's a great site- as long as you say only what the staff wants you to.

I created my account with them back to June 2018, the website looked so neat and with beautiful features, web design and artwork. I used to get addicted to it, I invited one of my cousins there but since he had no clue how to create an account, I created one for him, later he got bored of it and left. I contacted staff to remove that account but they didn't respond or take action.

8 Months later, my account got terminated because they flagged me as I've multiple accounts. I tried to get in contact with them but they either ignored me or denied my request. This caused me to lose my honor there and get blocked by some of famous FR players/helpers.
I was frustrated and created another account, basically told my friends there that my previous account got terminated, later they suspended me because I told them this!

Later, after more than a year, I contacted them again to delete or disable my account but again, "they either ignored me or denied my request.", then I wrote a forum topic that I want my account to be deleted and asked for people to how to deal with who block me, a moderator just deleted my topic and I never could read other people's advice on how to deal with some of toxic people there.

PS: I remembered that I owe people 800 gems because I was running a raffle on my previous account and it got locked, I wish at least they would return it to me to give it to users, I created an art commission topic to revive this money with selling my arts and that also got deleted.

Tip for consumers:
You should always have a proof screenshot of your payment order if you purchase gems from them, because they sometimes don't give you gems (in-game premium currency) and since you cannot always contact them, you can lose your money.

Flight Rising is a fun and exciting game that has a great community! Most users are very kind and helpful, and the forums are a great place to chat with other people! AS SAID BY OTHER REVIEWERS: DONT SPEND MONEY.

The staff has major issues with how people post in their forums and will stretch their ToS to the limits if they want to silence you. They're quick to strike and absolutely will not admit when they've taken something wildly out of context. They delete all signs of their own wrong-doing and eliminate any and all complaints, no matter how justifiable. Heck, even saying the single word "support" in their forums is enough to get you suspended.

They're also bigoted against people of faith and have hard-banned any detailed mention of real religions, including forbidding users to create "skins" and "accents" with any slight allusion to any religion at all. This also includes deleting positive and neutral mentions of real religions while promoting and even encouraging horrible, negative misportrayals of faith.

Their accessibility is laughable. Problems that hinder the disabled community linger for years.

Bugs aren't fixed, user-on-user harassment is never dealt with, and Kickstart promises go unfulfilled after a decade. I do not have a high opinion of their staff because of how they abuse their power in handing out said punishments. Their attitudes towards certain protected classes is flat-out disgusting. I would not recommend playing this site unless you want to wake up to a random suspension for breaking an unwritten rule that they just assumed you'd know.

Flightrising is developing a reputation for being incredibly exclusive and going so far as to silence any discussion about groups they don't like. I've seen amiable discussions on flags of different nations, indigenous beliefs, Jewish folklore, a whole gamut of disabilities, and even SANTA CLAUS vanish from their site. One of their staff members is on record of saying very trans-phobic and anti-pan things. They don't acknowledge quoi-sexual, and squash any mention of real-world faiths, even those that have been traditionally marginalized. They've even released an item during one of their festivals that deliberately triggers trypophobia.

They cannot seem to comprehend that people from all over the globe, of all ages and walks of life and life experiences, play their website. They literally cannot comprehend that some people sincerely hold ideals that are different from theirs. Any player who so much as mentions heritage or traditions greatly runs the risk of getting suspended or banned with the staff claiming they're trolling or trying to derail topics or that they're posting inappropriate content. Seriously. They cannot understand someone talking about their nationality is actually being serious and not just trolling.

Don't support this site. The staff are horrible people who don't deserve to have even this much control over an audience

They treat people who are different than them like "trolls" instead of embracing diversity.

I made an account when I was 13 and didn't know making too accounts was against their terms of service. When they suspended both of my accounts after I came back many years to play, I sent a message to staff. Who did not care how long ago I made the accounts, said I did it on purpose and banned me from my two accounts. Leaving my dragons to never be seen again. Years worth of memories are gone now. They don't care if you apologize and say you were literally a child when you made the accounts. Even if you provide proof of your DOB they don't care and will push you aside and say deal with it.

They told me I can make a new account but I refuse to after the way they me and their customers. It's bad practice, completely unprofessional and cruel. You can tell from all of the other reviews this is still happening even today.

I played this site for over 7 years. Last December I made the mistake of spending a decent amount of real money on the site--right around $100. It was a holiday treat for myself, since I was really into the game, and I was saving up for a big rare item!
That was a huge mistake.

Literally the day after my chargeback period had passed--I'm not even kidding--I got banned for "multi-accounting." I appealed and asked what evidence they had I was multi-accounting, and after FOUR WEEKS all they sent me was a canned response saying I wasn't getting my account re-opened due to "egregious transfer of funds." What?! That didn't even answer my question?!
I sent another message asking again what the other accounts were that I was supposedly multi-accounting with, and they never sent a response. They couldn't even give me an actual reason for my ban.

It's too late for me to get my money back. Don't make the same mistake I did. The admins of this site don't care about the users. They are on some kind of weird power-trip and their self-importance is far more important to them than anything else. I've heard of far too many cases of them falsely banning people and stealing their money, and not a single case of them reversing their wrongful bans.

I've even seen cases of one of the admins tracking down banned users on Tumblr and reblogging their posts about this issue with salty answers, trying to publicly shame them for complaining about being wrongfully banned. It's really unprofessional and honestly kind of sad.

So sad I wasted so much time and money on a game created by these kinds of people. Don't make the same mistake I did. Don't get invested, and better yet, don't play at all.

Idk what to tell you,
I made a mistake in the past where I had a double account, I didn't know it wasn't allowed, I Spent over 300 EUR on this game to get stuff I wanted my dragons to wear and I'd transfer some stuff from one account to another because I needed it, but that was a big no no according to the TOS so that was MY BAD, but to be permanently banned for a game i spent so much money on just feels like I'm the one getting scammed :( I'd like my money back for what I spent on there.

be careful what you spend your money on, you might just get scammed.

This site seems to serve as a bullhorn (I'd hope, unintentionally) for cybertrolls and toxic adults looking to prey on minors and other vulnerable adults.

As long as there are creepy adult members who can give the site money, they're allowed to run free bullying other users or engaging in rule-breaking activity without penalty.
There have been many instances of pedophiles, groomers, cyberstalkers, and adult-age bullies who have exploited the site's lack of community security for years. Not to mention the extreme, public prevalence of baseless witch hunting/cancel culture, which can affect literally any player at some point in their career.

It takes an exceptional amount of community outcry to have serious offenders placed on the staff's radar. Individual reports of harassment and shady activity are often ignored by the staff even after multiple appeals. Furthermore, the staff can threaten to leverage malicious report penalties against victims trying to get help.

This in mind, I don't think this is a good site for minors to touch with a 10 foot pole. There are certainly safe zones and good people within the in-game community, but not enough to offset the extensive cyberbullying culture that has taken root.

You'd think something so important to the gameplay would be fixed, but even though we were told by the staff that it would be fixed, it has been YEARS and nothing has changed.

My daughters and I have had accounts since its 3rd birthday. We've put so much time and effort into this site. I decided, as a reward for my daughters, I would give them weekly gems from my dragon sales. A year later, I had to email the staff because I lost my password. They were rude and harassing, saying I was a cheater with multiple accounts, and closed both mine and my daughters accounts. Obviously this upset my daughters greatly. They weren't understanding at all, rude towards my youngest daughters asperger syndrome, and after my email complaint about how my daughter was spoken about, they blocked our IP.
Incredibly immature, disrespectful and ableist.
Do not use this site.

The staff are not understanding or respectful towards anyone.

While the staff of this website try to present themselves as inclusive, they are actually hard bigots against people of faith. Even mentioning the word "religion" is enough to get someone suspended.Vague allusions to religion in general are banned; but anything detailed about aspects of a specific faith also get banned under "proselytizing." They claim to accept people of faith, but they have them over a barrel on both ends because both vague and specific mentions of religion are suspend-able. They'll twist their rules to suspend or ban anyone who even breathes a faith or includes any religious symbol of inclusion, accusing them of "spam" or "derailing a topic" or "harassment" or "trolling" or "non-game feedback." They openly try to closet a very important part of many people's identities, which is the exact opposite of the inclusion they act like they support. Instead of treating religion like the protected class it is, they treat it like toxic political discourse. This is clearly outlined in their ToS.

Tip for consumers:
There are better websites out there. Try Facebook for all its faults. Go to Twitter or Tumblr or Reddit for a place less toxic.

Well if you play Marapets, you will know what I'm talking about. They essentially took Marapets, improved it with things such as breeding and more colors, changed it to all dragons, and called it good. That said, the people are absolutely WONDERFUL. Everyone was very kind and understanding as well as patient with me and my questions. Moderators don't reply to your "contact us" area often though. But, you don't NEED to pay to use the site, which is great. The forums are very confusing though, so beware of that too.

Flightrising has just enacted new rules to mute any and all refernces to religion, DESPITE the fact that there web site is covered in religious symbolism: yokai from Shintoism, quetzalcoatl from Mayan lore, golems from Jewish folklore, Taoist and Buddhist craetures and symbols, and numerous references to anceint religions that are still practiced today.

All of this is just a VERY thin veil to hide their Christophobia. They have no problem with other religions on their web site--many do slip by in user-created content. But they weill hard-lock everything related to Christianity (and Catholism by extension).

Tip for consumers:
Customer service is terible. They also don't listen to any user feed back, which has resulted in many, many, MANY cases of all there players rioting.

NEVER spent money on this game. I have been wrongfully banned 4 times for "multiple accounts". The first time was true, I, like so many others, didn't realize FR wasn't like other petsites that allow multis. I tried to appeal, got the stock "you $#*!ed up dumbass" response, and lost 3 years of progress. A few years later, I gave in and made a new account. After only a few months I was banned for, you guessed it, "multiple accounts". I HAD NOT MADE THE SAME MISTAKE. I spent months trying to appeal that time, all for nothing. But I love dragons, and I truly enjoy playing and customizing. So I made another. Banned. Same $#*!ty email. After getting married and moving I eventually made a new account. Played it for years just fine. But I got divorced and no where to go but my parents home. BAM! Banned. I'm heartbroken, years of time and effort and HUNDREDS of dollars down the drain with the same lazy "you're a piece of $#*! cheater" email they always send. No proof when you try to talk to them and nothing you can do because they will block you so you can't reach them at all. I've been following the front page for months now trying to decide if I'm stupid to try YET AGAIN when I see a staff post claiming people are specifically trying to make FR look bad to cover their own cheating and "save face" and using examples of stories like mine as "egregious liars" and claiming only pure intentions. Picture below, many of those stories have proof as well.

All of that aside there is the FACT that the staff are constantly changing the way the dragons look with little to no warning, including things bought with premium currency, aka real money. They are dishonest about what they change and why. This has been an issue for the sites whole life. So even if you get to play with ought being banned for nothing, you can't trust what your dragons look like even after paying actual money for them. 0 out of 10 never again. These people are crooked liars who don't care about their players as long as they get money first.

And to everyone who has been banned please go to the FRwrongfulAcctClosure subreddit and post your stories so maybe something can be done! There is no

I started playing about five months ago and had a great time playing the game with my siblings and my cousin. One morning I woke up and got on to incubate my eggs and I want logged in, so I tried to log in. It said I was banned for multiple accounts. I sent in an appeal because I didn't have multiple accounts and they told me I would get a response in 2-3 weeks. After four weeks I finally got a response and it basically just said I was guilty and had a ton of invalid reasons. I tried to tell them they were wrong and they basically said you can't have your accounts (my siblings and my cousin got banned too) back ever 'because I said so'. I am extremely frustrated by their customer service and I wouldn't suggest the game.

As far as "collector" games, this one is the tops. I've been playing for almost 4 years now and still love, or loved, it. The problem is, eventually you will notice that things in your lair go missing; dragons, apparel, items. Things you buy will not get to you, things you try to sell will disappear. And you will then meet the "admin monsters". Post your problem on the forum, they lock it. Contact support, they ignore you. Contact the developer, he sends you back to the people ignoring you. Until you are one big frustrated angry person, who loves their dragons, but can't take the complete lack of customer care anymore and quits. If you do play, please don't spend real money, it is too easily lost!

Me and my daughter were closed for "multi accounting". My daughter was guilty and sent a detailed message to staff admitting it and stating that I wasn't aware she was multi accounting which was true. She has interacted with me in a forum I ran for wish granting and via messages and crossroads under the guise of her accounts each being individual users. I further proved I was unaware by sending in 44 screenshots of interactions by using the email she sent staff and cc'd to me detailing her multi's. One forum post I even pinged two accounts that I now know were hers to let my group know I was home from surgery.
These were ignored by staff.
I sent in a total of four appeals that included numerous messages after which they blocked me. Despite this the emails stated I could make 1 new account, but since I'm blocked if I were to do so and have a problem I would not be able to use the Contact us page
I requested a detailed listing of "suspicious transactions" including any messages attached to them. After this message I could no longer log in to the Contact Us page.
Furthermore they changed the reason from multi accounting to 'funneling through a family member' and claimed this had gone on for "the better part of a decade". In the email my daughter sent however she stated that at some point she liquidated her multis and scaled back to the 1 account I did know about. According to the forum posts I found my last interaction with one of her extra accounts was back in 2016.

Put simply, if your evidence does prove that staff screwed up they still will not reopen your account.

I have decided to gather ticket numbers and evidence from as many people as I can find who have had unjust account closures. As such I have made a reddit community:

I believe the original founders, all 3 of whom have FR accounts, need to be Informed and need to see the pattern of mishandled accounts by the contact us staff in hopes of these egregious acts being rectified.

Don't spend real money. Staff has a habit of arbitrary closure of accounts and willfully disregards evidence of innocence.

Gameplay would be enjoyable, but site staff and their take on customer service is terrible. Canned support responses (if you're lucky). More often than not, you'll just get ignored. Staff doesn't care if you regularly make cash purchases on their site, your contributions are worthless to them. There's little point in financially contributing to this site in light of how they regard their players, paying and non-paying alike.

This game is so fun! However, it can take a long time every day. Do your homework and stuff first! Baldwin, fiona, tomo, galore, and everything in general is great!

The customer support on this site would be more efficient if run by rabid, blind lemurs. They never answer your question or if they do you get a cookie cutter answer. They ban players for apparently no reason and lock threads also for seemingly no reason. Support never replies to you if your problem is big or small; I'm not sure if they are stupid, poorly-trained, or just don't give a crap.

If you buy gems on this site, ISSUE A CHARGEBACK on paypal or your credit card. Especially if your account gets locked or banned. Do it asap because this site frankly doesn't deserve your money with how poorly they treat their player base.

It might be fun if you're a teenager who never interacts with anyone else but the staff really needs to be better if they ant the site to grow. They're rude, ill-informed, and absolutely useless.

I find the general community to be a positive and welcoming space, who work to protect and respect all other members on the site. However, there are also uncomfortably large, shady cliques within, who are known for breaking the TOS and attacking other users.

I've heard of many stories of people (including friends) who were the victim of offsite stalking, doxxing, suicide baiting, and extensive witch hunts and bullying by a wider group of users. As extreme as these cases are they are not rare, and they lead victims to leaving the site, and often result in real life emotional and mental health damage.
Many of these incidents happened offsite (tumblr, discord) where penalties were not issued, but sometimes it also happened over private messages and onsite forums.

What's also really disturbing, and possibly unique to the site, is the presence of at least two offsite blogs that are frequently dedicated to targeting and harassing other users. In some respects they resemble the very seedy places of 4chan, to set example. They are visited by a large portion of the community, and work via anonymous submissions so there is no way to trace back to the author and report them.
The staff are even rumored to visit both of these blogs and interact with the moderators, but it never leads to penalties for the people who run them.

Speaking of the staff, they aren't well known for dealing with harassment properly or even attending to a serious situation when it occurs. They have a ticket system, but are /terrible/ about responding to tickets, close significant tickets before they are properly reviewed, and completely ignore cases of cyberbullying offsite no matter how damaging it becomes for a user.
I've personally experienced staff penalizing or closing one harassing account, only to see the same person make a second, illegal account and not have it scrutinized after sending in 3 tickets.

That all said, interact with the community at your own risk when joining FR. Don't ever link social media to any of your pages, offsite blogs, or anything that cannot be reviewed by the staff. Because people will target you if you leave vulnerable information. And if you are harassed onsite for any such thing, be well aware that the staff may not come to your aid.

If I could, I'd leave 0 stars, but alas...

Players are often banned unfairly, with false evidence/no evidence. Many unfairly banned players send appeals, and almost always are denied. Often times, even with proper evidence given to the staff, they will just turn around with an automated response for denial of the appeal. When asked for their evidence to prove an accusation, they ignore the request for evidence and simply give an automated message.

Customer support is so bad; contact-us messages are VERY often left ignored. You can actually get in trouble for sending in too many contact-us messages. The staff team rarely does anything about them.

Staff members are also rather selectively deaf. There are many things that need to changed regarding the moderation.

Some notable incidences that need to be known:

1. A user was scammed by buying an illegally duplicated item (buyer was not aware it was a dupe). The staff team caught the dupe item, took it away, but did not refund them the currency they paid (over 30,000 gems, a premium currency).

2. A user warned other users of a suicide-baiter for the safety of other users, and got suspended for it. Suicide-baiter is still freely playing Flight Rising.

3. Recently (as of May 30,2017), a number of players were banned on the accusations of sharing accounts, multi-accounting, botting, etc., and were not provided proof by the staff team. Many of them sent appeals, and were denied.
