About a month or so ago my partner and I came across a job advert on goabroad.com. It was posted by an Amir Syed saying he could provide working visas and jobs to anyone as unskilled workers to enter the USA, Poland and Canada.

We thought it sounded too good to be true, but we spoke to him online and despite his terrible English, he convinced us that it was all legit and explained the law, how his team of 20 lawyers and 25 years experience could guarantee jobs wherever in the USA we liked, however we had to give him the money first as his 'company' had suffered losses due to people dropping out.

He sent us word documents briefly outlining the process. We asked whether there was a website, he said "No" but claimed that his engineers were working on it. Soon "worldtravel-visa.com" was online. It shows testimonials and team profiles.

We sent our scanned passports, he sent us his bank details in return (showing someone else's name) so we copied and pasted his colleague's name into google who supposedly sent us the bank detail email and found she works for another company called "Active Migration".

Closely reading the team profile page on his scam website we found he'd copied and pasted all of the information onto his website to create a fake team, the give away being his own profile, which referred to him as Tony halfway through. Tony lenko is the head of Active Migration.

The testimonials were copied and pasted from the same site.

More google searching showed he had been posting smiler job/visa adverts on several other websites in previous years even under other names, however his phone number always remains the same. It traces back to India. He states his head office is in California.

On one site a vast amount of people were posting their passport photos under the advert, he's charged up to $16,000 per person for his "service".

We haven't spoken to him since we said we would forward him the money but he made out we were friends and he would come and see us in the USA.

We would really appreciate any guidance regarding this fraudster who must be quite successful and are sad to think that he has conned so many people out of money from all over the world, including the poorest of places, without justice. Please advise how we can spread the word and if possible put an end to his adverts.
