Orders over $99 ship free, I chose to pay a little extra for what I thought would be faster shipping just to find out my order would still arrive at the same time had I just kept the free ship option, what since does that make, all that offered was an inconvenient loss of time, yes I recieved a refund for the shipping cost. Maybe sticking to West Marine IS a better choice for my future purchases, im sure that will be ok with you,according to the irritated attitude of the individual I spoke with. "Great" CUSTOMER SERVICE?

I was able to find what I was looking for. Prices, overall, as a total including the free shipping beat out all other online-retailers.
I received my items in 2 days with the exception of one item. I then looked at the missing item on their website. It did indicate it would take 2-3 days as it was not in stock. Many other companies would have waited until the could ship the whole order. Wholesale Marine did it the way a consumer wants it. Ship me what you have in stock right now and ship the back order item(s) later. Nothing on this order was critical. I have had poor experiences with other online retailers where they did not ship, or even notify me, that the whole shipment was on hold until the back ordered item(s) were ready to ship.
I would highly recommend Wholesale Marine. From what I can tell they seem to have their own warehouse and not drop shipping using a distributor.
