Update--the heater has slightly, but perceptibly raised the temperature and is circulating air nicely in our frosty bedroom closet. The real test will come with sub-zero nighttime temps forecast for next week, but if we avoid a repeat performance of frost forming on the inside of the bottom drawer of the chest of drawers in that closet, which prompted my search for a closet heater, I shall be more than satisfied. Very quiet in operation, and the unit just feels slightly warm to the touch, so I am not concerned about safety during operation. Of course, it is positioned well away from any clothing hanging in the closet.
