Avoid at Any Cost
August 6, 2020

Avoid this service at all costs! I ordered 100 chocolate sunflowers from Whole Blossoms for my small wedding ceremony. My intention was to encircle the ceremony area with dark reddish brown sunflower blooms (if you look at the photograph of chocolate sunflowers listed on their website, you know what I mean, they're gorgeous). That unfortunately did not happen. The day before my order was to arrive I received a text message from Andrea stating that chocolate sunflowers would not be available this season, but that they could send "tinted chocolate sunflowers." I asked if she could send a picture of what "tinted chocolate sunflowers" looked like. She sent a photo of sunflowers that were red blooms with hints of yellow (see the photo below), and stated that "this is the closest to what they would look like." I agreed to the replacement based on this picture. I even asked her clarifying questions like: will the dye come off? And are they wedding quality? All of which I was assured that they would be beautiful. What came was 100 purple and burnt orange sunflowers which looked like it came out of a haunted house (see picture below). I contacted Andrea because there was clearly a mistake; these were purple, not red—and clearly dyed from the stems up, which rubbed off on everything. Just getting them out of the box and into water made a purple mess all over my living room. When I got ahold of Andrea, she insisted that these were "what I ordered" and if I wanted to return them that I would be charged a $100 restocking fee. I spent 3 hours going back and forth with Andrea on the night before my wedding. She was unwilling to admit her mistake and only after I said that I was going to be contacting my credit card company, did she begin to offer any reasonable solutions that did not entail me paying for the correction. She offered to pay for the return shipping if I sent them out before the end of the day. Anyone who has been married knows that the night before a wedding is chaotic and full of chock full of last minute details so it was no small feat that I repackaged the flowers and took them to FedEx within the hour. As a replacement she offered to send me 5-6 "growers bunches" of cosmos. These were not what I had in mind, but I was no longer had the option to get my flowers elsewhere as it was 6:30 PM the night before my wedding and I had so many other things I needed to be doing instead of arguing about flowers. The flowers arrived 2.5 hours before the ceremony, to be frank, they were a joke, a "screw you" of a wedding decoration: maybe 35 sad, wilted, decaying flowers that started shedding petals the instant I picked them up. It felt like an insult, honestly especially for the $250 I paid for 100 sunflowers (of which she did return any). The flowers were unsalvageable, and I had to have my mom run out to the grocery store to buy some flowers so that my ceremony wasn't missing flowers altogether. This is a terrible flower service with nasty management and I can't urge you strongly enough to take your business elsewhere.

Dream Villa Wedding
November 21, 2016

First of all, let me start by saying that planning a wedding is a very important part of a relationship. My wife and I had been together for many years; we have traveled all around the world and have experienced so many amazing things together. Being with her has been the best thing I could have ever imagined. Together we have an amazing partnership, friendship, and relationship. Once we took a trip to this rustic villa, surrounded by beautiful mountains. The scenery was completed incredible. It was the perfect escape, enhanced with lakes in which ducks seemed to be having the time of their lives. There were trees and birds singling everywhere. We had such a romantic time and I thought it was the perfect setting to ask her to marry me. That was a moment I will never forget. We fell in love with that place and each other all over. It was so perfect that in fact, we believed it to be the perfect location for a wedding. We wanted to share such a beautiful time of love with our family and friends. My wife and I own and advertising agency, so we know how important presentation is when trying to appeal to people, so we didnt want to spare any detail of this wedding for our guests. We looked online at several companies that provided wholesale flowers and made several calls. We called Whole Blossoms and knew right away that we made a very good choice. They helped us pick out the right flowers that would be available during the time of our wedding and even gave us suggestions as to what flowers would go well with our setting. We chose several varieties such as babys breath, roses, spray roses, thistle, and lilies. In the front of the villa there was an amazing looking fountain surrounded by a courtyard of natural stone pavers. We filled this fountain with many different colored rose petals. For the wedding we used this area for a DJ and bartender. It was a fun place for guests to gather and especially fascinating for the guests to sit around the fountain with fanciful amazement. All around the front of the building area we had several hanging planters filled with lovely spray roses, making it look all the more lovely. In the back of the building was a beautiful landscape facing the mountains on the other side was hearty and lively trees. This is where we had the ceremony. We had constructed an arch and decorated it with roses, it was quite a spectacle. We also made boutonnieres with lilies and had one of our friends help us construct the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. Once you saw the flowers, you didnt forget how beautiful and fresh they looked. We also had an outdoor dinner area with dance floor. This is where we had the reception in which we placed little vases of flowers on the tables for our guests. Everyone had a great time and my wife and I were truly happy and grateful. It was a time we still talk about and keep getting the photos out and looking. I think it was the best wedding we could have ever imagined. Again, we want to thank Whole Blossoms for helping us to get the right flowers we needed with freshness and quality that is out of this world. I will only recommend them in future for anyone planning a wedding or event.
