The website seems dead. The threads I am interested in haven't been updated in months. I tried to join anyways to see old posted pictures and links but then was denied for no apparent reason. Don't waste your time.

The forums on Wet Canvas are very useful.
However, after six attempts to join only to be immediately deleted before I had even signed in, I cannot understand how anybody can join.
I know, why don't I just use the contact form, right? Because no matter how carefully you type in the captcha image, it comes back as a fail.
As Ray H says, this is for some cliche that I don't even know how to join.

Wet Canvas is for all sorts of art. The site includes product reviews, help, how-to's, as well as an extensive forum. The forums are filled with all sorts of artists who are happy to help.

The only problem I've had there is the occasional condescension from a few artists on chosen mediums. However, the moderators have quickly stepped in, as the site is dedicated to open discussion of all mediums used for art.

This is a huge site... and when I say huge I mean HUGE. You will find anything and everything there, all mediums, critique sections, all styles, art business, digital art etc etc and all of them are separate forums. You can find beginners and well known artists, hobbyists and passionate painters.If you don't like one community then you can move to another it's plenty of space for you to chose.

I love your site but I'm waiting for activation to do all the features in threads. Its been a week or two now and I want to know if I'm allowed?

I was accused of spamming on my first post and I said delete my account - I was just trying to enter my first painting on their site is all...
