Starting a new company is exciting and so you search for what you think will be a great solution to the How do I get Leads question. Don't do wedding pro. You are tied into a year term and the leads are not quality, Every single lead in the last 7 months either never replied after asking for info, or ghosted me after only a couple emails. Looky Lous. I should have spent my money on SEO. Lesson learned the hard way.
I've never dealt with so much deception from a company that is supposed to help users drive business. This has had devastating effects on the financials of my small business and they have absolutely no understanding or care for their vendors. I unexpectedly found that I am pregnant and will have to go on maternity leave with no income for a long period of time. Despite this they are refusing to cancel my account. It's nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone, this has truly been a nightmare and I hope anyone thinking of doing this will see the reviews here and save themselves the headache and heartache that this scam of a company will create for your business.
As a business owner desperately seeking effective advertising solutions, I stumbled upon an app that promised the moon and stars in terms of promotion and growth. Little did I know that my experience with wedding pro would soon become a harrowing journey into the depths of deception, disappointment, and despair. Only received scams, and not real leads, plus the customer service is terrible.
You pay a fortune to advertise. Then you get scam messages, ghosted, and it leads you to wonder why. Well no matter what price point you pay (they have tiers) after a couple inquires it give them 5-8 more suggestions for vendors to reach out to in the same category. So if you are tier one paying a ton of money, you still get thrown in the mix with the 5-8 others who don't pay as much as you do.
They scam you when it's close to renewal time or if you complain. I noticed it every time.
When I asked why they give more suggestions they said Netflix has the same business model. Which was comical to me. How is it even comparable? When I spend $20 a month of course I want to know all of the videos that compare to what I just watched that's why I'm on the platform. That is NOT why we pay so much to advertise with wedding pro.
I've had a glitch on my account for over a year. They combined my company with another and removed all of the reviews I had.
With out previous notice, they canceled our account after 7 years of sharing our business. Wedding photos, over 60 reviews, conversation with our current couples etc. They do not reply to any emails, the support phone line is a joke! Called repeatedly to be told someone will call me back (never Happened!). Terrible and very unethical. We regret bitterly to have ever trusted them.
Please STAY AWAY. I just got off the phone with Heather, my account manager after many attempts to get in touch with her. I want to cancel my 1 year agreement of advertising because it's really a SCAM. I spend $579/month an haven't booked a single wedding after spending $6k. Trust me I've been in the catering business for almost 30 years and you're better off advertising with Google. Don't advertise with anyone that ties you up in an annual contract. All the leads are fake not a single person responds. Beware of this company, it's a ripoff.
I manage leads for several different venues and therefore have to log into multiple different weddingpro.com accounts every day. Most inquiries are either scams or just price shoppers too lazy to hit the "Pricing" button on your listing. Don't even bother reaching out to Support for ANY issues. They will not help. Reached out regarding my password not working and TWO WEEKS LATER they sent me a temporary password that also didn't work. Tried to find the venue on the Knot and Wedding Wire only to see that venue was now removed with no notice. Can't get the company to respond as to why it was removed either. Terrible terrible terrible company! I hate that I have to even give a single star to leave this review. BEWARE!
Lots of mechanisms to keep you from not renewing. First every green clause (you can only indicate non renewal no earlier than 30 or later than 5 days from renewal or it automatically, and legally, renews. Then, when you do give that renewal they tell you you need to schedule a Zoom meeting. When you schedule the Zoom meeting, that you got because you wanted to renew - they tell you you must first send an "Official" notice to quit - Eve thought you have already told them that several times. But they won't tell you what and "Official" notice is. They seem to be stalling to get you into the 5 days before it is over so you are stuck for another year. This is a VERY UNETHICAL COMPANY.
I am a business advertiser and want to cancel my account and keep getting the run around the. Don't respond and call you back when they do the call drops and they don't call you back and email you instead $#*!s I am reporting then to Bbb and I will get my money back
