Beautiful and quality items at giveaway prices, fast and cheap delivery charges, Sweet shopping experience and a reliable Application for buying and selling
Buyers pay a fee but get zero protection from this vile company. They literally side with the seller even if you return an item at your expense. I have received fake Pandora and dirty clothes, returned them, provided proof with photos and tracking but they just release money to the sellers anyway. I've lost over £50 to this scam of a company and they should get closed down immediately! Avoid or you will get stung!

Avoid this company, it's a con.

Vinted.co.uk charge buyer protection for zero customer service. I returned 'not as described' items to a seller I paid £51 for rubbish, I returned them at my expense as vinted don't expect the seller to pay for the return. The seller is not refunding me and now Vinted tell me I may have to wait up to 15 days to get a refund! I have reported vinted.co.uk to trading standards and consumer advice. It is appalling how they get away with this terrible practice!
Tip for consumers:
I believe vinted.co.uk are using illegal practices within the UK and not following Government guidelines.

I have been selling on vinted for 1 year as ebay have showed themselves to be illogical greedy fools. Yet vinted has its problems too, they blocked my account for selling antique glassware? They delete your items for sale with no reason and will eventually block you. All your 100s of hours of hard work become pointless. Sad but true. Any genuine platform for selling I'd love to hear about.
Tip for consumers:
Vinted are too limited on what they will allow sellers to sell
Poor customer service they just ignore problems and respond with generic crap and never resolve them.
They're not fair in terms of banning accounts I listed an item they didn't like and I had over 200 5* reviews and they've banned my account permanently not even a warning.
No room for reviews on unbanning and not very friendly either.
AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Never received my parcel, had to wait for a month before they agreed it was lost and then promised to refund my £140 and simply never did. They are now ignoring my messages and my bank had to take over. Don't use!
The customer service is non existent. The return policy doesn't cover " didn't fit, didn't like" - so people damage the purchase in order to claim refund. As the seller you have no option to disagree, you can only accept already damaged item back or release refund without return. The return of item is taking about 2 weeks and may not be to your house but to pick up point, so great - now you waste your time and money to pick your damage goods back! If you don't sell something really cheap like under £5 I would strongly recommend to go somewhere else.
Vinted may be good for buyers but is definitely not good for Sellers! If an item you sent is damaged in the post, Vinted will take no responsibility and will argue that it was not packaged correctly so you get no compensation. My buyer was really helpful, even to the point of contacting Vinted to confirm it was well packaged and sending numerous photos of the damaged item and destruction of the dress. Despite this, Vinted stated that the dress I sent should have been packaged in a sturdy cardboard box! Vinted will not pursue the delivery company for you and when you try to pursue the delivery company yourself, they say their contract is with Vinted, not you, so you can't take it up with them either. Vinted's customer service is appalling- AI to start with, then their customer service team are difficult to contact and bordering on rude. I won't be selling on Vinted again.

I listed a genuine item. They blocked my account for no reason saying it was fraudulent activity!
No apparent way of contacting them to find out more!
Hence this review...only way I might be able to get an answer!
Tip for consumers:
That they block you for no reason and no obvious way of contact as account blocked
Blocked my IP for what? Only because I had losted 3-4 items with tags. Now I cant open any vinted accounts to this. Never again not even with another email. So I sold a lot and I dont understand How the UK accept this vinted Advertisment everywhere. Most people got scammed and blocked from vinted.

Sold a jacket for £50.00 on Vinted and the seller received the parcel. I provided royal mail tracking number as required. The date of sale was the 11/11 23 Contacted Vinted customer service Agent name was Souhs. I was told I won't be getting my money. I'm bewildered why as everything was done properly. Proof of postage and all, won't be selling on this website ever again. It's a scam, cowboy website. Stay away from this site. I sell a few things on eBay and I have never had a problems like this ever!
I sold a pair of trainers on Vinted and posted it through InPost (like I normally do). The trainers were never sent to the buyer and were 'sent back to me' however I never received them back. Vinted told me to wait 8 more days and then they would compensate me the £30 that I have lost. I waited the 8 days and was told by Mariam that although they previously told me they would compensate me, it's not their problem and they will not be offering me a refund or paying me for the loss of the item and that this was their 'final decision'. Absolutely appalling, unprofessional and extremely disappointing behaviour. I even sent the print screen of the conversation with Vinted only last week confirming they would offer me the refund after 8 days. Disgusting customer service. I won't be selling on Vinted and I will be spreading the word that this is how they deal with people. Awful company!
My daughter was selling a coat on my behalf and posted it 3 weeks ago today to a dimwit who claimed that my coat was fake and sent it back ten days ago.( p.s my coat is a belstaff and was bought from flannel's so is definitely not fake) anyway it now says on the couriers website that it has been returned to sender despite them not even trying to deliver it. She has contacted hinted and couriers and so far has got no answers. God knows how long before I get it back,or what condition it will be in. Livid
I sent an item through vinted Evri, it never arrived with the buyer and was returned to me, but damaged in transit. I contacted vinted but apparently I was not able to get compensation because I had received the order! Not sure what I should have done but now I have a damaged item I can't relist and vinted don't want to help. Obismol customer service. Zero stars. Do not send anything of value because if it was like my experience, you won't be compensated if things don't go to plan!
Many flaws in the system. I purchased expensive item (in hundreds) at price seller had set. My order was immediately cancelled! I'm now out of pocket for that money and have to pay it on my credit card bill, refund not immediate. I can't leave a negative review for the purchase, and customer services don't seem to understand English enough to assist. So many holes in system that both buyers ad sellers can be left in the red.
I have had a mostly positive experience with buying and selling, however, vinted are now withholding payment of a significant sum of money due and pending. They will only accept ID of passport or driving licence. How is this not discriminatory? I have a birth certificate, national insurance number, driving licence number (not photo). Absolutely ridiculous and something that I'm going to pursue legally if possible.
A high percentage of the listing don't show enough of the garment or are taken in bad light. Item that are damaged are not pointed out and sellers do not respond to buyers in a timely manner. Vinted are cut throat in applications of their policies; therefore be very selective in what you buy. Posting is delayed Try to get answers from sellers, ask question. People sell on the site because they don't charge fees. If I add pictures it will be traced back to me.
Tip for consumers:
Vinted use the conversations between buyer and seller to monitor, so all your issues should be logged there as I’ve not seen any other means of contact the people at Vinted.

Crap company. 3 parcels lost. Customer service is useless, rude, slow and lots of unnecessary obfuscation(delays) in the claims process. 3 weeks of me and my customer's time wasted!
Avoid at all costs.
This website sells counterfeit goods! And when I challenged it, they didn't provide any evidence of authenticity and automatically took my money. And no complaints procedure! Only customer service chat which has now ghosted me.
I am having trouble getting into my account as I need to pay sellers and this stupid box keeps coming up saying to verify my phone no WHICH I keep doing and it does not accept it and keeps locking me out for 24 hours. Its really stressing me out. I send them messages, email says you have message from vinted I open it then what do I get... a box saying verify your no and so it begins. At the end of my tether and there will be sellers thinking I dont want to pay! Cannot wait to sort and leave.
Please put a stop to offering shipping services (ie Royal Mail) that require you to print shipping labels at home. It goes against the whole sustainable ethos that you're pushing at Vinted.
People rarely own printers nowadays and I just had an awful experience at a local library and ended up resorting to Snappy Snaps where I had to pay £2.50 to print a label. After driving to the library, paying £1.50 for parking and then £2.50 for the label.
Please do better by your customers and the environment.
Package sent to buyer, they claim not received and claim refund. They arranged for postage
Delivery carrier shows parcel received at buyers address, with a picture of the parcel in an open doorway ie being taken at the delivery address. Clear case of returns fraud. No response from Vinted, left with no item and no sale monies
Full of scammers, orders a Nintendo switch and instead received the smallest plastic envelope! I refused the package at the shop and sent vinted all photo proofs, clearly showing all angles and labels with close up of the references etc… they still haven't reimbursed me! They are saying we need to wait for the package to be returned to the seller?!?! What package? I received nothing! Shameful, they should be taken down
Tip for consumers:
Look out for profile selling only one items with no reviews or zero stars

Got scammed
Tried to return an item but you have to jump through so many hoops.Must have taken me 30 minutes to buy postage and copy all the documents needed, then they would not upload to Vinted, so looks as though I am stuck with this item and now have to cancel and reclaim my postage cost. So much easier on eBay's return system
Tip for consumers:

After the carrier kindly left my order in clear view on the drive, on return from work it was not there. I reported to Vinted alongside the carriers photo. Following this, Vinted expect me to have a pdf converter programme, home pc and printer to signed a document. They were not helpful after advising I don't have a printer etc and made matters worse by reminding me that we are in 2023. Whilst I appreciate this, we also recognise difference and I buy online due to a disability. The buyer protection is made difficult, I'd be surprised if anyone ever gets their money back when Vinted have to pay and not the seller
I bought a pair of ECCO mens shoes from JASMINE ROBB on VINTED and they were seriously faulty. However, VINTED don't share any responsibility for their site allowing the sale of bad merchandise but they add a BUYER PROTECTION FEE? Ans I'm sorry to say JASMINE ROBB from Crawley has no morals.

Buyers protection which must be paid by buyer compulsory. Is a complete joke, means nothing. But then again so is customer care, customer care my. There's no such thing on Vinted concerning customer care. If you get sent wrong item, get ripped off by seller, don't get the item or actually any other complaint, do not ever ever! Expect it to be resolved it never will be. So bye bye money, bye bye item bye bye buyer. A complete and utter $#*! show, should be shut down by tradings standards.
