USPS® Customer Service
Unbelievable
Unbelieveably Untrust Worthy,
Well, we mailed a package they lost, shuffled from the Texas Office, where it should be if they can read labels, to LA and have stalled there for a long time. We had to refund the customer, but good old USPS said we can't claim it because it is circulating but will be late. Is there no accountability on their part in this situation? You can see below it went back and forth. Now, the packages we sent with another order the boxes were shredded to pieces- Product damaged. There needs to be accountability or some sort of reform with the postal service. Worst service ever.

Tip for consumers:

WILL NOT BE ACCOUNTABLE and will let our package float back and forth to different states. Had to give a refund; now if it makes it there, she will still get the product along with our refund. WOW

Change-of-Address? Go to the post office first or suffer the consequences!
April 16, 2024

USPS Case Confirmation For Service Request *******

On April 3,2024, I filed a request for a Change-of-Address. I received an email the next day. On April 5, I received an email saying that the request was processed. However, after that, on April 7, a day before the date on which I was going to move to the new address, USPS sends me an email that states "Your Change-of-Address has not been submitted!" (their punctuation). The next day on which I relocated, I receive again an identical notice saying "Your Change-of-Address has not been submitted!" That made no sense at all, so I figured there was some technical glitch.
The next day, USPS sends me another email saying "ACTION: Complete Your Informed Delivery Enrollment," totally ignoring what I had programmed on my request that I am seeing now becane a ghost. I received three emails on April 10 saying "we have temporarily SUSPENDED your access to your Informed Delivery® features," so in effect, I was punished for having made a request for a Change-of-Address! Then I received a telephone call from a woman who said I needed to come into the post office to submit identification because some law had been passed in 2023 requiring that to make sure that I was no spammer. One logical question, something the US government would never think of: if that is a law and it was a requirement, why is it not mentioned anywhere on usps.com where I filed the request for Change-of-Address? Apparently, my thinking is still much too logical and maybe too outdated, but if it was a law as she said, I don't understand why the website doesn't even give a hint about the requirement!

I was getting impatient with what looked to me like a free-for-all that USPS was pulling, so I filed a complaint that generated an email labelled "USPS Case Confirmation For Service Request *******" that solved nothing, of course. I was directed to their Frequenty Asked Questions page -- what they apparently classify as "customer service." Everything that follows is not important because it's obvious that madness is the operative element. However, there was a redeeming quality today, April 16,2024: I received a telephone call, again from the post office in Washington, DC, informing me that she was sending to me all my accumulated mail. My question is: will I really get everything, or is another disaster about to happen? I have lost all faith in USPS and I doubt anything will ever restore it to what it was before.

Tip for consumers:

Just be aware that taxpayer money supports this total madness and inefficiency and never trust any government website to post all the requirements because if you don't, you'll be shocked at how severely you'll be punished for thinking that there is a requirement that the government institution neglected to post! If it's a law that was passed, don't expect the institution to be responsible and make it known; otherwise, you'll be breaking the law!

Three months later before the pandemic.
August 11, 2020

Today's Aug 11th I filled a claim on April 29th. #**************340 I had been submitted all entail from both parties. Submitted all evidence as well as many photographs. Then again in mailed letters, and emails. I a high numerous levels of evidence and correspondence. Never one response. I had called many times. With them repeating there selfs to send physical evidence to the Supervisor of domestic claims in St Louis. Repeatedly I did so. I even sent it certified with Insurance. Now unbelievably 3 months later the website says denied. Never a letter, never an email, never a phone call. It is very clear that no investigation was looked into on this claim. When there own plastic wrap is around the package states "We care" by the USPS acknowledging that the package was delivered damaged. Regardless if this is read or not. This is my experience only and this will go out existential repeatedly to every contact and availability that is available in social network. Not to pay additional insurance. Mind you the situation was before the pandemic.
