Uptownie

Don't buy from Uptownie, specially from their website. I placed an order 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't been shipped. There customer service is pathetic. To let other know about this, I left a review on one of their Instagram posts and they blocked my account in return (haven't come across a more petty brand). So, please don't get influenced and buy from this brand!

I have been scammed too. I placed an order on Uptownie last month and made an online payment, but I haven't received any updates since. I've been trying to reach their customer service, but their contact number is invalid. The only available support is an AI chatbot on WhatsApp, which keeps giving scripted responses saying that my order is processed and cannot be canceled. However, there's no actual information about my order.

This company manipulates its customers, saying that return is available under 15 days and mentions it's under all their products, but they hide that return is not in the form of cash but some form of stupid coupons in separate sections, which even their employees can't find. They take money, but you will never get your product. Customer support will either not lift your call or will abruptly cut your call and block you. You will be blocked on Instagram and emails as well. PLEASE PLEASE STOP DON'T BUY FROM THEM AND SPREAD THE WORD TO OTHERS AS WELL.

The first time I purchased a product from your brand, I chose an XXL size, which fit me perfectly. Impressed by the experience, I decided to buy another product in the same size. However, this time the product didn't fit, so I returned it. While you provided credits as a resolution, the process was tedious and required significant follow-up.

Using the credits (₹500), I decided to purchase another product and added ₹800 from my own pocket, bringing the total to around ₹1,400. Once again, I ordered the same XXL size. To my frustration, the size was entirely off—much larger than what I typically wear.

When I contacted your customer care team to report this, I was met with rudeness and a refusal to accept the return, citing your website policies. This is unacceptable. How can a brand inconsistently label sizes and dismiss genuine customer concerns?

I feel cheated and utterly disappointed. If you cannot address customer pain points or maintain consistent standards, you leave no reason for customers to trust your brand. This experience has been frustrating, and I would not recommend your brand to anyone. Please take this feedback seriously and reconsider your practices.

Never buy from this website, it has been a month since i have placed the order of Rs 4500 but by order is not shipped yet and they do not even respond through any channel. I wish i had an option to give zero or negative star/points. Really disappointed!

They are just fooling customer's. I ordered from there website.it was a prepaid order. It's been over a month now I did not receive the order they are not even returning the amount.The number mentioned on there website also wrong.they are biggest frauds.please don't fall for there instagram ads and order from there website. After sharing the feedback they are just blocking people. Please review the mouthshut reviews of there website

@uptownie101 fraudulent. Even after sending so many messages, no one replied. They took the money as well. And now showing drama. If they don't want to sell the product then why are they doing advertising?what is the point? It's been a month almost no response nothing

These kind of fake startups should be banned...I ordered tops at 8.30 am and 9.20 am on the same day I cancelled my order after seeing all the reviews and they were not ready to cancel the order and said the process has started and now we can't cancel the order and I did online payments so was stuck now...can't believe who starts processing it early morning and within 50 mts the goods have been dispatched...such people kill the market for other genuine startups cause people start disbelieving on such online trades.
Shame on you guys for cheating others.

I ordered my dresses worth 5k and after confirming the order they didn't send my order, i have chasing them from last 2-3 weeks and they are not responding or replying on my order details. They are fraud people, please don't buy anything from their website #uptownie banned

Had ordered a co ord set from Uptownie: didn't fit me well so had to return it. They had told us to wait for 10 to 15 days for refund. It's been more than a month now. No money or any mail yet received from their end. Nor any customer executive picks up the call. Extremely pathetic n fraud site

They don't even respond to customer's concerns. Never received my order. Worst online shopping store I have ever shopped from. Shut your business if you don't wanna deliver products and spare out the time to respond to queries for weeks.

It's not everyone's piece of cake to run a business. Stop scamming customers!

It's been a month, I placed the order. I haven't received any update till now, they don't respond on calls, emails, WhatsApp. Such horrible and unprofessional. Highly recommend not to order...

The quality of the product is very poor. Their service is extremely poor. No will will respond and no one will call you. Don't buy anything from here. If you realy don't want to get scammed. My personal experience is worst.

Its srems impossible to return once you have taken their product fraud customer care number no response mails bad clothing material worst stitching quality...how can you work like this in long run with such pathetic customer service

This website is the worst to order from. I ordered once i got my order in 7 days after 2-3 months i again ordered they took a month to deliver the order. And also no customer service response on time. They do not refund your money. And if u try login in to the website it shows incorrect password which they do not reset also. Never order from here.

They are running a FRAUD WEBSITE. I had already ordered from them since a month. Didn't RECEIVE ANYTHING from them! They don't revert on INSTA, their customer care is always busy and no revert on EMAILs.
Please don't order from them and waste your money

I received the product after a month and when i returned it I received only store credit (no moneyback). And apparently you cannot use your store credit with any discounted items on site. Almost everything on their site is on discount and hence I am still not unable to use my store credit. It is almost a 2 months now.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DON'T PURCHASE EVER.
