Awful. Do not use these people for anything. I gave them $400 for medal racks and they took the order with a 3-4 week lead time. Then, kicked it out 3-4 more weeks due to not having a few of the awards on-hand, then 1-2 more weeks. Their customer service person didn't understand that there is a point where they need to ask the customer if they want to still wait for the order or just cancel; I had to prod them just for that. At this point, I might get my order before the end of the year. Communications were weak and not prompt. They need to work on customer service and apparently logistics. If you say you have stuff on-hand for an order, then make sure you have it on hand or adjust your website accordingly. Certainly, don't just keep kicking things down the road hoping the customer won't cancel the order.
Never received order. Was not charged either. Re-ordered same item a month later. Was charged this time. 12 days later still nothing arrived. Went to website. Says order still processing. Called numbers available. Twice. No return call. Have opened a dispute with my credit card company. Highly recommend you steer clear of this company.
5 days of "in process" finally opened a support ticket only to be told the order was held due to lack of stock... Told then to skip that item but ship the rest today or just refund everthing and cancel the order... Just checked and nothing shipped. Sent a new ticket to cancel it all. Worst ordering and processing of any supplier. Avoid at all cost, they are useless.
I made a request for a few badges. I even paid a slightly higher shipping fee so I can get it faster. They never gave me any tracking confirmation. They promised I should receive it in 3 business days from when they ship. I guess it took them days to finally ship it because 2 weeks later I still haven't received it.
Greetings, I received a bent, slide on ribbon rack with glued on accrouments. This is not what I ordered and you took months to send me the order. I ordered thin-ribbons that were suppose to be serviceable for dress blues attire. Your company cheated me out of money in hopes of quality product and service, but I received neither. I feel bad for the future service members that will try your service and products. I also feel bad that you advertise that your company crafts these products in the USA. Please stop cheating service members. Thank you.
Sad to say they never sent my items, and to take advantage of Disabled Vets sad company need to be shut down. Does not respond to calls.
I ordered a dress blue jacket. After reading these reviews…. I know I'm an idiot. I ordered it along with medals and ribbons. 3 weeks later they finally emailed me back saying that 2 medals were on "back order." I asked them to just ship it. No reply. I called them numerous times…no reply. Some dumb answering machine telling you to press star to speak to an employee or press pound to leave a message but when you press the star it makes you leave a message. Finally they answered and told me they shipped it Tuesday(called on a Thursday) and they will send me an email with a tracking number. Guess what…. You got it, no email. Called again. No answer. I called the next day and they picked up again. I spoke to some woman who told me that she couldn't log in because she didn't have the password but the people who did have this sacred password would be there at 11am and they will send me the tracking info. At 2pm I still didn't get it. I called an absurd amount of times and no answer. So I thought I would be a little ninja and I called from my girlfriend's phone. And just like that they answered. A woman answered the phone and I explained my situation. I explained how I talked to someone who told me they would email me the tracking number. She goes " oh who did you talk to?" I told her I didn't get her name. (As I'm writing this novel, I'm 99% sure it was this same woman.) Anyway, she starts typing on a computer and humming and goes "oh no, I don't have internet hold on." So she keeps humming and buying time and then goes " hmmm that's weird, it says we emailed it to you on Tuesday, no Wednesday when the package was shipped." They can't even keep track of their lies. So I make her read me the tracking number, she does so in a very weird way. I read it back to her to make sure it's correct. And before I have the chance to say another word, she hangs up. I think whatever, I've got the number. Nope, it's a fake one. These people are snakes, worms, gum on the bottom of my shoe. Filth. Never shop at the disgusting place. God will strike down this sweatshop in honor of the corps. Semper F*****
I made an order in December 2023. After a month with no feedback, I emailed to request the status of my order and was told one item was on back order in January 2024. I finally received a shipment notification on May 9,2024 and received package on 13 May. Nothing in package was what I ordered. A phone call and email to customer service went unanswered. I do not recommend this business.
As other have stated, the fulfillment is horrid and their communication is even worse. I order 4 simples things (medals and pins) and they have been on "back-order" for nearly 2 months now (when i see same things available on others sites). I have asked about my order 3 times and all three times, it's been same thing - xxx is on back order. I have asked for my money back, we will see it that happens. BUYER BEWARE.
I place 2 orders with Uniforms 4U. One on 11/7/2023 and another on 11/20/23 and have not received them yet (12/6/2023). I opened numerous Customer Service Tickets inquiring about the Shipment of the Orders and got little response. Of the 2 responses I got one said that the National Defense Medal was out of stock and then the Second response today (12/6) says that they are waiting on the Service Stripes. I asl asked them to Ship what they had and I would wait for the one item to be shipped later. I will never Order from them again and would advise everyone to stay away!
I called about purchasing one small item that I needed for an upcoming event. I was assured by them that if I placed the order right then, they would ensure that it was processed and that I would get it by the end of the week. I submitted my order and paid for the express shipping within 3 minutes of that call. Two and a half days later, they shipped it and it is arriving after my event. When I contacted them about it, their response was that the order was processed according to their stated processing times. It mattered not to them that they assured me that I would have it. There was nothing in the correspondence that showed that they were interested in trying to correct the issue and they were very flippant in their responses. Will NEVER do business with them again.
Purchased uniform items 4 business days before an event and paid for overnight shipping. After asking for a status update day before my even I receive an email reply it's preparing to ship which I respond to cancel my order. Two days later get a reply that it's to late. Nearly 3 weeks later I get my product and have to pay return shipping, and a 15% restock fee (won't be refunded my overnight 3 week shipping) even though i didn't even open the package.
Salute Uniforms provided the worst customer service experience I've ever received. I do not recommend using them under any circumstances.
I ordered a jacket, pants, and shirt in mid July. I didn't receive any updates on the order for weeks. After calling, customer service and they said they were waiting on the pants and would ship the jacket and other items immediately. I received the jacket in mid August and discovered that the jacket was the wrong size (not true to size). I immediately cancelled the rest of the order since I didn't know if the pants would be the correct size.
Instead of acknowledging the issue, they tried to convince me over the phone that I was not a 42R. They said they would exchange it for a fee. I went to the tailor to remeasure myself and try on a 42R at the PX. The tailor confirmed that I was a 42R and the 42R at the PX fit perfectly. I tried calling Salute and was on hold for 40 minutes before I decided to email them because I thought it'd be more efficient.
I asked Salute to waive the exchange fee because they sent me a jacket that is not true to size. They refused to waive the fee or allow me to return the jacket for my money back. I mailed the jacket back at my own personal expense ($16) and will only receive a store credit minus the 15%. As a result of their mistake, I paid 15% of the jacket's cost ($45) + another $16 in shipping + my time – I could've paid for all of my tailoring at that cost. Now I'm stuck with a $260 credit at a retailer that I can't even trust to send me the right sized item.
I still haven't received the refund for the first part of the order and they refuse to refund or exchange the jacket without charging me a fee. For comparison, most clothing companies pay for return shipping and do not charge restocking fees. I even sent them this review prior to posting the review to give them a chance to resolve the situation.
The experience speaks for itself – don't use Salute under any circumstances.
TERRIBLE SERVICE-UNHELPFUL STAFF - OUTRAGEOUS POLICIES-. I ordered hat, (Cover) accessories to fix a damaged emblem and elastic band. It never came even though USPS shows it delivered. Salute took over a week after me calling, messaging and emailing them to finally respond. Melissa first said they would help me. Finally this is how they helped - Told me since USPS shows it was delivered, I had no recourse. Just buy it again and pay again. After being unhappy with that they finally, "OMG" offered me a 10% discount. I have in the past purchased uniforms from them after a phone consultation about size. I ordered based on this consultation and the uniform arrived the WRONG size. They had a fix - ship it back at my expense, pay a restocking fee of 15% and rebuy, repay for item and shipping and start over again! I knew that it still wouldn't be right, so I had it shipped directly to my tailor's shop. I was Right it was still not right, but at least the tailor had it and he could alter it, at my expense. I guess the only item you can but that's guaranteed to fit is a service ribbon!
