As a very busy Senior Move Manager, we are relied upon to solve our clients problems. I would highly recommend TSI! In the past, I have been very disappointed when I am tasked with moving my clients' valuables or family heirlooms long distances. Every mover I used in the past let me down on a variety of fronts. Stories that will curl your hair! So when I had a client needing to ship 10+ furniture items, 3 paintings and 10 boxes of assorted items from Santa Barbara to Nashville, TN, I was concerned and skeptical. On top of this my client was a military family on a budget. I spoke with Chris to get some specifics about the TSI services and to determine whether this move would be a good fit for TSI. We agreed that it was a fit but I was still skeptical. In working with Max Huber, TSI Move Consultant, we were able to price the job in a way that made sense for the client and Max took care of everything from there – coordinating the pick-up and delivery and keeping me up to speed about the whereabouts of the client's items. Max was easy to reach and ready with answers each time I called. Ultimately, the items were delivered earlier than expected and in pristine condition. I spoke to the client the day of delivery and they were thrilled. Much thanks for Chris, Max and the entire team in converting a skeptical move manager into a fan of TSI. Whatever you do, don't use TSI Shipping. The company claims to give white glove service and specialty packing to irreplaceable antiques. But for my move, TSI hired an absolute idiot who threw my mom's buffet on the dolly without wrapping it in anything! I was having the piece moved from Indiana to my home in Florida. A security guard and caregiver were both so shocked and appalled at the treatment of this furniture that they called me. The buffet is scratched and now has wood pieces missing, and the idiot also put drinks on top of the wood...so there are markings from that. TSI said it was my fault for not purchasing additional insurance. I wasn't looking to make money. I just wanted the furniture properly wrapped and delivered as other movers, who don't even specialize in antiques, would have done. I spent $1,047 for this aggravation. It would have been more satisfying to throw that money in the trash. Also, the company demanded to be paid in full up front. That should have been a red flag to me.
Not impressed with TSI. The first crew scheduled to pick up the furniture no-showed and claimed we weren't at home. That was a total lie. TSI did reschedule with a different crew to pick up later in the week. That second crew arrived on schedule. When the goods were delivered, the packing seemed fine. There was some minor damage and an ornament on one piece of furniture was missing. That is when I found out the buying insurance through TSI is not worth it. FYI, you will not receive any information on the term and conditions for the insurance. I also encourage you to google the carrier TSI uses, Relocation Insurance, before buying coverage.
My bed was broken in transit and pieces are missing. I was also told it was curbside pickup and they had me load it into the truck.
They were a day late and put me in a difficult position . They only offered me a 25 $ rebate I will not use this company again , and I have 4 complete house that need all rooms filled with furniture moved up north they won't get me business
I did not like the delivery service. I was informed that there will be communication as to when my boxes will arrive so as to be ready to receive them but there was no contact at all and some of my boxes arrived damaged. I just surprisingly saw them at the front of my door. So, not so good.
The shipment was damaged in transit and never delivered to our customer. It was a very expensive mattress and we lost a lot of money on this. Thankfully TSI returned our money for the shipment. There was a 4 day stretch that they did not know where the shipment was and I could not get an answer as to where it was. Not a very good experience.
Service at beginning and end was great; price reasonable. In between, all 10 plastic totes had been taped; however, only 9 were delivered, and every one of them, the tape had been either ripped open or come undone. At least one tote had been repacked into a different container. Two small, inexpensive pieces of jewelry, but with GREAT sentimental value (late husband's wedding ring, and 100-year-old 10 kt locket) were missing. A report was filed of the missing tote, still waiting for result.
Expensive. Damaged items. Delivery not in stated window. I will look elsewhere for my moving needs in the future.
In Ca. the 2 two men were WONDERFUL. The answered all our questions, wrapped our furniture with blankets, were very Professional. The men who arrived in Toledo were in a BIG hurry, They brought the boxes in a hurry, the box marked 16 had been upside, and when open many glasses were broken I received from my wedding. I took pictures.
I shipped a dining room table, 6 chairs, coffee table, and 2 boxes from Reno to Seattle. TSI lost one of the boxes and is still "looking for it". Communication is all one-sided; if I do not call, I hear nothing about the progress of finding my items. I would not recommend this service.
Pick up was 3 months after I paid. Drop off late. NOT packed well. Damage occurred on one of the brass parts of the 1900 circa Grandfather clock. Will NEVER use this company again and will tell everyone I know of the shoddy work.
After making the reservation it took a month to pick up our order. And now it has taken 6 weeks to deliver the package. Very frustrated.
TSI picked up the rug as promised, but hadn't delivered it to our son in New Jersey several weeks later. When I followed up with TSI, they said that they didn't haver our son's phone number, even though it was listed correctly on the shipping papers. They also had my phone number, but never called me. Bad service from a company who is in the shipping business.
I had approximately 20 boxes shipped in November from Las Vegas, Nevada to Detroit, Michigan.
TSI's customer service was easy to deal with, and the price, although high, was about the same as all the other providers. The boxes were shipped quickly, and I received them within about 2 weeks. However, the tops of many of the boxes were crushed, and they looked as if they had been thrown around the warehouse or dropped from heights. They also looked as if they had been left out in the rain for a while at some point. They were delivered on a pallet with some shrink wrap around them, but certainly not waterproof. The top of the pile was exposed to the rain (it was raining when they were delivered). I consider myself lucky to have received all of my boxes, but obviously, they were not well cared for during the trip, and left out in the weather, as well as dropped or thrown around a warehouse. Don't use TSI if you can avoid it.
The driver who picked up the material was very helpful as was the customer service rep. My package was not delivered during the first two delivery windows (actually three, since when I callled at the end of the second window I was told that they would be delivering it later that day and then they cancelled again). During the third/fourth window the package was delivered with damage to it and I had to refuse delivery and lose the value of the item (a mattress and box spring).
They lost a box of items that are irreplaceable. I am so disappointed. They told me every box is barcoded, so I don't know how it happened and I have very little confidence that anyone is doing anything to find the box and return it to us. So while the front end was fine, the back end needs a better system. I believe that since the items probably won't amount to a large sum of money the shipper, TSI/Plycon, just won't spend any time or effort to find them. I am not at all happy about this.

The movers were very courteous, helpful and handled everything with care when they picked up items.
Unfortunately, approximately at least 60 percent of items were cracked or broken even though they were wrapped in bubble wrap individually and protected with towels, blankets etc for protection. All items shipped belonged to a 99 year old lady and all held many memories (including a number of ceramics handmade by family in Italy). All packing boxes were marked Fragile on all four sides. So many memories destroyed between California and Texas.
When shipping from Aliso Viejo, CA to Delray Beach, FL, my package was delayed in Pompano Beach for nearly a week, three times in a row.
My initial experience was very good. However, I was told the delivery would be done by December 31st. I learned that my mattress arrived by December 26th. When I did not receive my mattress I contacted the company and was told that they wouldn't do any deliveries on the 31st. I was given a date of delivery in January which was inaccurate. It arrived in good shape but the stops and starts of delivery and the poor communication was not what I expected. In fact the people in your office provided different information than the delivery company. My scores would have been higher for the sales department.
The condition of my mattress was disappointing. It was a brand new, very expensive mattress. It arrived folded over and stained. Very frustrating!
I'm trying to track the shipment & get confirmation of the actual weight? Your website doesn't seem to give me this option???
Mattress arrived with box half off. It was tightly packaged upon drop-off and it was very disappointing to get a dirty mattress on the other end.
We moved 7 boxes (packed by owner) and 3 pieces of furniture from CA to NC. We paid for insurance on 3 of the higher value items. Most of the shipment was of sentimental value as it came from a family home. Several of the boxes were marked "Fragile" and we were assured they would be handled as such. 3 weeks later our shipment was delivered in NC and we were very upset at the state of the boxes. Shipping labels had been pasted over the words "fragile", boxes were broken, damaged, taped back together and sadly a number of items were broken, despite being well bubble wrapped. Our cedar chest was scratched and damaged and we are still waiting to hear from TSI about that insured item. Our smaller damaged items were not individually insured since we had not itemized and valued each box. Customer Service is non existent. We do not recommend this company.
My stuff arrived on time and in good shape.
HOWEVER
I was extremely livid when 20 minutes before the truck arrived I learned that a freight company was picking up my stuff. That was never, ever communicated to me. So I had to move all the boxes myself to the sidewalk which resulted in me pulling my back.
For drop off similar situation in which the freight company was just going to drop off the stuff in my new driveway. Luckily, the company was nice enough to bring it into the garage.
You can not advertise yourself as a moving company and never communicate that you broker freight companies for pick up and deliveries. As a moving company I expected staff to help pick up and deliver the boxes - truly door to door.
still i have seen nothing about your services with the exception of your website which is fine with me.
