Truthfinder has completely and, apparently, permanently polluted my email account. When I started to take a look at their services, a user agreement with several pages of very tiny print presents itself for your approval. Somewhere in there they state they can and will sell your personal information to third parties. If they put in large bold font "YOU WILL RECEIVE OVER 100 SMUTTY, SALACIOUS SPAM EMAILS A DAY IF YOU AGREE", I think people would run away. I used to get maybe one or two a day for things like replacement windows or solar panels. Soon after looking at their services I started to get an unusual amount of spam. Now I get over 100 a day of spam for things like Asian milfs, male enhancement products, online casinos, dating sites, etc. When I contacted the company they point out their user agreement and instruct you to unsubscribe yourself from the lists. So, even though I had concerns about clicking on the unsubscribe' links (which probably just serve to inform the host your email address is legit), I clicked to remove my email address. Clicking on the link was supposed to send an email to the host to remove your email. Every single one came back as "address unknown, email undeliverable". I contacted Truthfinder's customer help desk and after their usual disclaimer response about the user agreement, they indicated they would have my email address removed and it would take 10 days to take effect. Here we are over a month later and my email account is still polluted. They obviously don't care as long as they were able to make money off your personal information. I doubt I will never be able to get it back to the way it was.

So. If you want to permanently ruin your email account, go ahead and try to do business with these guys. Otherwise, stay as far away as you can. At this point I wish I did.

Truthfinder has been very helpful to all my daily activities, deep web searches and background checks. I have used their service countless times and they delivered. The only thing i worry about most times is that truthfinder might not be as deep as it seems, all they provide access to is public information mostly. Requesting information about several people... came back with tons of info... 5 or 10% I knew to be accureate...
Entered my own information... information came back 95% INACCURATE... WHAT A SCAM $27 DOWN THE DRAIN
Same thing with the phone info... they gave a persons name that could not have had the phone later than 5 years ago!

Whats up with that?

In the past three days, the last attempt was at 2 36 pm IST, Your Company Truthfinder has been trying to defraud and cheat me of subscription cost from my credit card, That is a VISA card and ends in 132.
Twice my Credit Card Managers have prevented unlawful payment, and shut down my card, to protect me from this fraud. As you well know that these digital records are present, and they are proof that your company is trying to take a subscription or 27 U$, that I am not aware of.
I did use Truthfinder for a month, a few months ago, and then discontinued the subscription and also mentioned when asked by a pop up prompt Why do you want to leave. I gave the answer, that I did not need the same.
This has happened thrice, one more time of your disgusting fraudulent behaviour, and attempt to defraud me, and I will inform the FBI and the Police in NY, USA. I will also start legal proceedings and ensure that you pay for your attempt to cheat and de fraud.
I am sure that I am not the only one but that there may be 1000s of similar attempts.
Cease and desist from attempting to defraud me and others immediately.
24 hours ago I sent an email to *******@truthfinder.com with the above message but there has been no reply. Which means that there is no intention to reply or remedy the attempt to fraud and cheat

I am shocked that many people have complained bitterly on this website and others about your stealing from them.

Just for fun, I ran a search on myself. It showed me living in 2 cities I have never lived in and related to my Ex-Husband's ex-wife and didn't list 2 of my actual children. You can learn more by doing your own search and checking out Facebook. I have also checked on people who I knew had a criminal background and they didn't list it. This is a WASTE OF MONEY. There is no way to make them correct it either. Just another computer program trying to make somebody some money and doesn't protect you from their lies.

I used Truthfinder once and they continued to bill for 3 months. I thought I was very careful to avoid this from happening, I used Paypal and they would not dispute the charges.
Im sure Truthfinder makes the majority of its revenue from cheating people just like they did me, dont use this service unless you are willing to be repeatedly billed for your one time inquiry that isnt anything that isnt just publicly available information.

You know the saying to good to be true? This site offers 'free' information, but doesn't deliver. After spending 30 min. Anawering?'s, yep, you end up with a pay up before delivery screen. What's worse is that every so often the site makes you wait while it 'processes' then it encourages to just answer a bit more?'s because they 'found' juicy stuff on said person. I even did a Fake person search criteria and same happened. Don't bother with this site

First time I ever heard of them. Definitely never signed up. Charges occurred in one day. Called number on credit card. Said would contact in 24 hours. Right. In 24 hours I will contact Capitol One. Make sure you contact within 30 days from first charge. Most credit cards call it dead in the water in 30 days and they will try to delay you 30 days. Capitol One is not that way and they bend over backwards to go after your money. How the heck did they get my credit card number? Has to be illegal. Now have to get new credit card number. I will contact my attorney general. The complain stays on their record forever and ever. Help if somebody gets a lawsuit. Class action for theft and indenity theft. Their web address should be shut down by their internet provider. Any body know it? Contact them and turn them in to attorney general also. Give out their phone numbers every where on line. Find out the police and other numbers and give them. Same with their. Com. Use that everywhere. Porn?
