Awesome experience with Travel Merry
July 23, 2019

I'm just about to describe an awesome experience I had while buying my flight tickets on TravelMerry. I was planning a holiday in Dublin in summer of 2018 and I was looking for the lowest airfares between JFK and DUB on Travel Merry. I was unsure about choosing the right flight route between both the cities, NYC has two international airports: John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) while Dublin has only one international airport known by the name Dublin Airport. After making a search for the lowest airfares to Dublin on the Travel Merry search engine I must say I found an extensive list of flights with carriers ranging from Budget to luxury and I was really amazed at the fabulous deals at throw away airfares.
Another thing I'm fascinated about is their advanced search filter option that lets you key in your choice of specifications like airports, non-stop flights, flights with stopovers, carriers to name a few and this feature has been implemented well and the site is super fast. I found the lowest fares between New York City and Dublin across the route JFK to DUB than the other less popular route LGA to DUB which offers mainly connecting flights via a stopover. My advice to customers flying to Dublin from NYC is you must choose the route JFK to DUB for leveraging the lowest airfares on non-stop flights.
Finally after comparing a lot of flights to my desired destination I chose to fly with American Airlines on their economy class and the roundtrip economy fare was close to USD 600. I booked my tickets 2 months in advance because the last time I got a few tips from Alex, the customer service agent who answered my call about leveraging cheap airfares and one of the tips was to book the flights early. I like buying my flight tickets on Travel Merry because they have such cool travel deals to Europe and they always live up to their lowest fares guarantee. I will give 5 stars rating for Travel Merry.

Very informative customer agent!
June 6, 2019

My brother, Mark recently wanted to book roundtrip tickets for both of us using Travel Merry and we wanted to fly out to London on a business trip on British Airways Premium Economy class. The British Airways airfares for the roundtrip were at least 10% cheaper on Travel Merry than other competing travel sites.

When I heard from Mark that he was going to buy the tickets on TM I immediately got reminded of my British Airways Executive Club membership and I had a lot of miles piled up in the last three months and I told him it was a nice time to redeem those unused miles. Listening to my idea Mark called the customer service team of TM to make use of the miles for some free perks from BA, the Travel Merry agent who answered my call said TM isn't concerned in any way with the miles redemption process and British Airways customer Service is the right point of contact in my case for any issue relating to the Executive Club miles.

The TM customer agent Bart gave us all the necessary information on how we could use the BA Executive Club membership privileges and the miles for priority check-in, priority boarding, lounge access, hotel and seat upgrade to name a few. I'm really impressed with Bart's valuable information on British Airways Executive Club membership privileges and he also advised us to provide him with our Executive Club membership number for the new miles to get added in the airline tickets before the generation of PNR and the flight tickets from his side.

This is what I appreciate most about Bart and our miles got added at the end of the transaction and I must say without Bart's advice our miles wouldn't have got added. We redeemed the miles later for our hotel and car rentals in London in accordance with the rules governing the membership and we did save a lot of money.

Travel Merry agent didn't give me the right advice on airport
June 3, 2019

I boarded a flight from New York to Milan and I had to choose the best airports between both these destinations as both New York and Milan have multiple airports. I surfed on the net for the best roundtrip deals, for this I have searched three or four travel sites for getting an idea of how much my airfare was gonna cost and what are the best carriers flying between NYC and Milan. I must admit that Travel Merry had pretty good flight listings on its site and I also found a valid coupon code that could be used for getting a further discount, most of them were pretty good deals to Milan. Although there were other sites offering almost similar prices I chose to shop my tickets on Travel Merry, there was something about the look and feel of the TM website, the site was easy to browse and user friendly and this was very impressive. After getting a fair idea about the average price on a standard carrier for my route (New York to Milan) on the Travel Merry site I called the 24 x 7 customer service, upon calling one agent by name Andrew answered my call and I sought his advice for the choice of airports for taking advantage of lowest airfares and ease of travelling to and from the departing and arrival airports. The agent suggested JFK at New York and MXP in Milan and he told me that cheapest airfares are found between John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Malpensa (MXP) as more operators have flights on this route. After the call I realized that the agent was right and I found JFK to MXP non-stop flights to be the lowest when compared to flights to Milan Linate, Milan's second international airport. I bought the best deal at lowest fares from New York to Malpensa and was quite satisfied with the online deal. All was well until I landed at Malpensa International Airport in Milan. I realized that Malpensa was 54 km away from the city center and I had hell of a time finding out the best and cheapest way to reach the city, I hopped on the Malpensa Express but it took almost 1 hour to reach the city center. The mistake I made was choosing Malpensa over Milan Linate (LIN), had I chosen Linate as my arrival airport I would have saved a lot of time and stress. Milan Linate apparently was only 8 km from the city center of Milan. This was a terrible mistake that I made and I really wasn't happy with the customer agent Andrew's advice, Sorry Travel Merry, I do understand that I paid less for my air travel but I really didn't appreciate the location of Malpensa Airport. I wouldn't have minded buying more expensive round trip tickets for my journey. My 3 stars for your poor advice

Hadto buy a new ticket for a missed connecting flight
May 15, 2019

I was on my way from New York to Paris on American Airlines flight via Istanbul, the first flight from JFK to Istanbul was on schedule, the waiting period at Istanbul airport was 1 hour and that was during peak festival time, Easter Passover in April last year. The Istanbul airport was overcrowded with huge travelers and there was not much room inside, added to this the screening area was even more crowded which resulted in huge wait times. I requested my fellow passengers to allow me to break the queue and explained the situation that I don't have much time to go to the ticketing counter to board my new flight, they only listened but couldn't oblige me because they said they also were in a rush to catch a flight. It nearly took 35 minutes to get out of the security procedure and finally when I reached the AA ticketing counter I was told that I was late for the flight and since it was a connecting flight I was asked to buy a new ticket because it wasn't the fault of the airline, this was the first time I was facing this kind of situation, I immediately called the TM customer service and explained the situation and requested them to intervene and help me avoid the cost of buying a new ticket. The TM customer service team was also helpless and couldn't offer me a new ticket for free, they said it was my fault for not maintaining the correct time for entry. My only advise to people is don't travel during peak festival times with layovers as there's a high risk of missing a flight due to overcrowded airports. I'm not happy with TM customer service as they couldn't help me, I paid unnecessary airfare for a missed flight.
