Thinking of buying travel insurance, if so I seriously advise you to stay away from travel direct. I took out travel insurance for a trip to the UK. I had to cancel my flight the day before I flew out due to my husband being taken into hospital. It took Travel Direct two month and mountains of paperwork to refuse my claim. I lost $750 for the flight cancellation and $138 for the travel insurance. Thanks Travel Direct. I certainly won't be buying your services again. Shame on you.
