I like it so far, haven't had it long enough to use it though. The representative was very helpful and explained the companies policies so I would know what coverage I was getting. So far the only negative thing I have to say is that I never received my policy. Its only been about a week since I signed up so im sure it will be here any day now.

Great company

This company is great! They worked so hard to resolve my claim with the repair facility. I have had a ton of car issues recently and they have gone above and beyond to get my issues fixed. Definitely worth the money!

This warranty was in my budget. Total auto protect has always been polity and ready to help me when I call. I just recently needed to use my warranty because smoke was coming out of my car and it was smelling like coolant. I took it to the Buick body shop and they were going to check it over when I found out that my turbo was leaking and I neded a new heat gasket. Total Auto protect fixed it within days.

Great customer service

I own an older BMW which has the tendency to break down. When I first bought this car several years ago, I was offered Total Auto Protect by the dealership. When it finally ran out, I was called by the company saying I needed to renew it so I did. There's no difficulty in paying they take it out on my checking account every month.

Great customer service

I chose Total Auto Protect because they had reasonable prices and they covered a lot of things for my vehicle. I feel comfortable with them, I needed a diagnostics ran on my car for something that was going on with it. I was able to take it into a shop and get a diagnostics to you guys. Great customer service skills too, they explained service details well.

Do not do business with TAP
May 29, 2024

Purchased extended warranty from company very unhappy with service. Advised can cancel and will be reimbursed prorated amount of policy. Per company sent request via email and was told refund will be processed in 30 days. This was in January 2024. After placing several calls to company and being told on 3 occasions that a check was issued and lost in mail was told a check would be sent fed ex and tracking number emailed. Last promised check was to be issued on May 24. Was advised by rep that email will follow with tracking number. Since January I have called and spoke with company no less then 20 times and each time have been told check is sent. I would not recommend doing ANY business with TAP

Despite buying their Premiere policy, they have refused to cover almost everything so far. Their favorite excuse is to say everything is normal wear and tear. Washer jet hoses broken on a 9 year old car? Normal wear and tear. Wheel bearing gone out? Normal wear and tear, despite wheel bearing specifically being listed as covered on my policy. What a waste of money this was. I will be contacting the BBB.

Claim rejected for no reason
December 5, 2022

I spent 9K on the extended warranty coverage. The claim rejected for normal extended warranty items without proper reasons. Every time I speak to them it is very stressful and they dont understand the type of repair as well they have knowledge of repair parts. I suggest you to look for better warranty coverage from a good company rather wasting your time on this company.

Worst representative and customer service
November 23, 2021

The worst customer service and demeaning reps I've seen with any business in a long time. All I wanted was a confirmation email that I canceled the service within the satisfaction guarantee period. Called at least 15 times and send several emails, voicemails, but no callback. The 844 and 888 numbers listed in the emails will not work. John Myers is a rep who is all sweet when signing up, became the worst rep after signing up. Will not send an email of cancellation, gets very upset when asked for an email confirmation. Also talked to Matthew in the billing department. Both Mattew and John say 'you want an email cancellation confirmation for $100?" I sincerely believe that all the positive reviews are made up of bots and a huge push for positive reviews. No way the way they talk to customers will earn any positive reviews that they gloat over every 1 min of conversation.

Total Auto Protect was surprisingly very affordable and very reasonable my representative Scott was very friendly and accommodating. I actually expected to pay more than what I paid and I feel very safe and secure. You are not locked into a contract so whenever you want to leave you can if you want but I would not do that.

Very fast and easy

Everything was fast and easy! Would highly recommend this to everyone. The staff was very nice and helpful through everything. All I had to do was pay my deductible and they even paid for a nice rental car! I am very happy with the service.

Great benefits

My husband and I were the first ones in our family to sign up with Total Auto. We loved them so much that we recommended them to the rest of our family. Now our two daughters and both our son in laws have Total Auto Protect as well. All of us have absolutely loved the services we have received. The benefits have been amazing!

I had to take my Ford F-150 to the dealer to get the power seat and the power mirror repaired. The dealer repaired it first and then asked for payment because they worked with Total before and had a card on file. The deductible I have was about $150. The entire repair cost was a little over $600. Very satisfied with the service.

We loved the reviews on Total Auto Protect when we started looking for a Policy. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable when we contacted them. The policy we agreed on was their Premier package and that seemed very comprehensive and reasonable for the price.

Just filed my first claim with total auto protect for my range rover sport. There was an issue with the suspension and the dealership told me it would cost over five thousand dollars with the labor. If i didnt sign up with total for 2400 i wouldve been out another 2600 plus i have coverage for 4 more years.

My car was showing that my coolant was low and adding coolant only lasted a day or so. Took car in to be checked and found the coolant reservoir was cracked. My mechanic called in and the repair was handled really quickly. Thumbs up

I have a very expensive car and it has a lot of very expensive electronics and other things on it. I had a very good experience with Total when I had to have something repaired on the car and they paid for it very easily.

Amazing company

We bought our Nissan Altima used and it didn't have a factory warranty anymore. We had a warranty plan for our previous cars and it worked well. Because it was beneficial for us in the past we decided to get one again from Total Auto Protect. We've had to utilize them once so far it worked out pretty well. I called the dealership, made an appointment and took the information over the phone. Once they diagnosed it and identified what the problem was they got authorization that it was covered under the warranty and they fixed it on the same day.

Very pleased
November 30, 2020

A/C stopped working. It took the tech a while to fix it. The dealership gave us a loaner car to use while they fixed the car. Had to order parts. They made sure everything was working before they told me to come pick up the car. Very pleased with their work and service.
