She not only went above and beyond with the style of how the resume & cover letter was formatted but she took time to really prep me for my upcoming interviews. She explained to me that I need to make sure my verbiage is correct. So that made me realize that this was not just a business transaction it was a little bit of everything.

I was assigned to Danielle D. As a Writer and she was easy to communicate with, prompt in her responses and delivered the documents quickly. I was anticipating a week to receive my resume draft but had it delivered within three days. Out of five positions that I applied for, I immediately received three interview requests! I highly recommend TopStack Resume!
Waste of money for a cover letter and resume. I needed a resume writer because I am attempting to change industries. The writer just merely added skills that I don't have for the new industry, added made up statistics for production numbers and efficiencies, and even made up statements regarding new processes implemented that I never mentioned. While the turn-around time was excellent not much time was put into it for the $200 charge. I am not sure if this is normal for resume writers but I could not believe it. I could not in good conscience use this revision. Even after further revisions I am stuck rewriting the resume and cover letter.
I am a long time executive assistant and production manager (10 years of experience) and was looking to upgrade my resume as I look to level up with a new job, so I paid TopStack for a professional resume. The first copy I received did not make any sense, had changed my job titles/moved them around making them completely illogical and not in alignment with my professional history at all. The edited version was not better, had incomplete and run on sentences, was extremely dense and scored very poorly with ATS. I was offered another writer, they criticized my lack of cover letter (how do they know if I write a cover letter? I ALWAYS do) and gave me unhelpful interview pointers, and delivered essentially the same resume just in a different format. I did attempt to use it a few times but then felt that I did not want to be associated with that resume and ended up completely re-writing it after over a month of rejections and feedback that my resume was illogical and dense.
I provided my original resume, which I felt needed some expert review as I had only received a couple of interviews since being laid off.
I only had email correspondence despite asking to speak with the resume writer. It was a tall order to review the drafts with only 2 reviews before the final draft, but I put faith in Clark Jospeh, my writer.
Since I had my resume written I have had zero interviews.
I chose TopStack Resume services because of all of the positive reviews I read online. I chose the bundle including resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn revision. TopStack has customers pay after receiving the first draft of the resume, which I did even though the resume was unimpressive. My bad. I decided that I could edit the resume to make it work. I thought a powerful cover letter was the tool I was lacking. Unfortunately, what I received from the TopStack writer was a gobbledygook word salad rife with poor grammar and typos. It's completely unuseable. I didn't want her to ruin my LinkedIn profile so I decided to revise it on my own. My experience with TopStack was a huge waste of money and time.
Barely changed anything. They put it on a template and that was it. Here is the response I received after saying that I might pursue a different route, but am open to any suggestions they might give.
I sent them a professionally written CV. Merely make some updates and asked that they review and ensure would pass ATS. Instead he adds wording that looked like a 5th grader wrote it, grammatically incorrect, and made my name a font of 50 plus. He also missed the corrections he was asked to catch. Not to mention missed the deadline on what was basically 1 hour of work, and skipped entirely the primary ask of taking a summary page and testimonials (again already written) and simply ensuring that had a once over to catch anything I missed as busy, and that it aligned in font to the main doc. Complete and utter waste of my time. Felt like i was being punked. Do not use this service.
Went through three writers.
First one took forever to get me a rough draft that may have just as well been written in crayon. Instead of sacking up and correcting her mistakes, she quit the job.
Second one tried to defend the first one, and was antagonistic right out of the box. She quit, too.
Last one was the best, but also got butthurt because I wanted corrections made. She also quit the job.
None of the three have experience in my field.
Finally a "manager" stepped in and could not reassign the job and just canceled without my permission.
Six weeks, no product.
Good news is I didn't have to pay for it.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Good, clean and nice service. Excellent resume writers who know what words fit excellently well with your experience and profile. Prompt service too! The resume writers are able to anticipate in advance what role you are seeking and how best to fit the resume into it.
Andrea Logan was incredibly easy to work with and I absolutely loved the template she created. From there, we just worked together to create the final product. It was efficient, simple and I am incredibly happy with the final results.
Amanda was great to work with. Our phone call was well spent discussing the industry I was in and how we were going to put this together. In the end, she came up with a beautifully formatted cover letter and resume. I was very pleased with what she did for me and would recommend TopStack to anyone.
Andrew was a great help. He was able to clear up some of the problems I had with my resume. Andrew knowlege of what employers are looking for was outstanding. He also showed me the key strengths we should focuse on. Believe if was for his skills, I would still be trying to understand what am I miss here. Thanks again Andrew.
Nice experience, would suggest to anyone. The ONLY thing that has annoyed me on this entire purchase is this review site SiteJabber, that I was trying to be nice and leave a good revive but SiteJabber insists that this review has 100 characters or more. I think i hit that minimum now.

Update: After submitting my resume online to several companies, within 1 hr I was contacted by every one them to set-up an interview appointment. I'm happy to report that I'm now in the stages of completing my onboarding with my choice of the interested parties! I can remember the words that came from the interviewers mouth as he complimented me on a well prepared resume and that it was the best he's seen in recent years! Answer: They are legit in that they will take your money and give you a receipt. As far as delivering on what was promised, totally different story.
Answer: They use real people, and I had no problems with communication or anything else for that matter.
