Whatever you do, do not pay extra for the linkedin and cover letter, its a cut and paste template.
Did not make any of the updates I asked when I wanted tweaks made to my resume and very slow to respond. Also, didn't even spell my name correct in emails. No attention to detail.

Do not use this service! I hired them to build me a NEW resume. After uploading a copy of my EXISTING resume a "draft" was sent to me within 10 minutes to "approve". I approved it to start the process and paid my money to start working with a "person". I also sent back what I wanted to see out of a new resume. I received a reply from *, a Senior Writer, with basically the same resume again. I sent this person an email about what I wanted on my resume and what I expected. I received the same resume back from her with none of the suggestions and a resume with improper formatting that looked like garbage, to be honest. I then sent her an email saying this wasn't what I wanted as she clearly didn't have the skillset to contact me to find out what I wanted so I asked for my money back. She sent it to a supervisor, * who is supposedly Head of Operations & Resume Writing. She said I couldn't get my money back because I had "approved" the draft! The draft that I wrote! She told me she could give me a partial refund for the linked in profile service I had also purchased. This would be a moot point if a resume isn't completed so of course they wouldn't even be able to complete the linked in profile with the regurgitated resume she kept sending me back. I received a partial refund, so I paid $139.99 for a resume to be written by a person and it did not happen. They should be sued for fraud in my opinion.

I don't understand the reviews of this service. I am a 40-something working professional who was looking to improve my resume and LinkedIn. What I received was pathetic-obvious typos and grammatical issues, basic language making me sound entry level, not an established professional. I had to end up writing it myself with the help of others. HUGE waste of money. Do not buy! Just look up samples online.

I had been looking for work for over two months with no luck. But just DAYS after Bailey Jacobs at TopStack revamped my resume and cover letter, I got an offer! Great work! Highly recommended.

I am a long time executive assistant and production manager (10 years of experience) and was looking to upgrade my resume as I look to level up with a new job, so I paid TopStack for a professional resume. The first copy I received did not make any sense, had changed my job titles/moved them around making them completely illogical and not in alignment with my professional history at all. The edited version was not better, had incomplete and run on sentences, was extremely dense and scored very poorly with ATS. I was offered another writer, they criticized my lack of cover letter (how do they know if I write a cover letter? I ALWAYS do) and gave me unhelpful interview pointers, and delivered essentially the same resume just in a different format. I did attempt to use it a few times but then felt that I did not want to be associated with that resume and ended up completely re-writing it after over a month of rejections and feedback that my resume was illogical and dense.

I provided my original resume, which I felt needed some expert review as I had only received a couple of interviews since being laid off.
I only had email correspondence despite asking to speak with the resume writer. It was a tall order to review the drafts with only 2 reviews before the final draft, but I put faith in Clark Jospeh, my writer.
Since I had my resume written I have had zero interviews.

Waste of money for a cover letter and resume. I needed a resume writer because I am attempting to change industries. The writer just merely added skills that I don't have for the new industry, added made up statistics for production numbers and efficiencies, and even made up statements regarding new processes implemented that I never mentioned. While the turn-around time was excellent not much time was put into it for the $200 charge. I am not sure if this is normal for resume writers but I could not believe it. I could not in good conscience use this revision. Even after further revisions I am stuck rewriting the resume and cover letter.

I chose TopStack Resume services because of all of the positive reviews I read online. I chose the bundle including resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn revision. TopStack has customers pay after receiving the first draft of the resume, which I did even though the resume was unimpressive. My bad. I decided that I could edit the resume to make it work. I thought a powerful cover letter was the tool I was lacking. Unfortunately, what I received from the TopStack writer was a gobbledygook word salad rife with poor grammar and typos. It's completely unuseable. I didn't want her to ruin my LinkedIn profile so I decided to revise it on my own. My experience with TopStack was a huge waste of money and time.

Very easy and streamlined process. Jennifer May was amazing to work with, communication was super easy and helpful... Not to mention she was kind and reassuring. Thank You for all your insight and assistance!

Barely changed anything. They put it on a template and that was it. Here is the response I received after saying that I might pursue a different route, but am open to any suggestions they might give.

I had contacted Top Stack a over a week ago, with still no services being attended to. They sent an email part way stating that they are searching for a writer to assist but never heard back. I had to contact them today to follow up and they said that it is on their board, but they still do not have a writer to assist. They even went on to say that they have a bonus for my file for the writers, which means that their staff isn't experienced enough to handle a professional/senior resume like mine. If you are offering professional writing services, then experienced writers should be on staff. There was no attempt to assist, or offer discount etc. but to ask again if anyone would take my file. In the time I was chatting with them, a competitor had already reached out and physically called me back. Do not recommend at all, which is unfortunate as they looked legit.

Since using TopStack Resume, I have been overwhelmed with employer responses. My expectation was met, and extremely far exceeded. Not only that, but TopStack even followed up with me making sure that things was going better for me in my search after using their service.

One of my favorite features of TopStack is that they do not use automated technologies to tell people their entire life is a failure, followed by a ransom demand for hundreds of dollars as some other so called "services" do.

But rather TopStack assigned a real Author to me, that listened to me and worked on my situation until absolute perfection was achieved. Yes, it is a process, but honestly, they moved faster and went further than I anticipated. Once absolute perfection was achieved, then the invoice was processed, and I have never been happier with spending a couple or few hundred dollars on a service. Even after payment was processed, TopStack contacted me sometime later to make sure that my resume revisions had given the effective result desired.

I have been an emergency physician for 30 years. TopStack professionally whittled my resume down from 21 pages to a 4 page general resume; 8 pages for Credentialing. Couldn't be happier, and the price was fair and right. Very responsive.

Keri has been a tremendous help. She made me feel at ease throughout the process. I am retiring from the military and she has been patient and very thorough on all the information.

I did my research and found that TopStack rated well and has good reviews for the most part. I purchased the Professional Package (after all, I am one, and need my resume to be solid). Happily, I received a skilled and experienced writer. I sent him Word docs of my existing resumes that were frustrating me. He tied everything together in a pleasant, presentable and marketable way to a single, easily-read resume. I'm looking forward to now updating my Linked In profile, and putting my newly approved documents out for competition.

I needed a resume revamp due to a career change. I was pretty happy with my original but knew it could be better. Vicki was quick with her response and suggestions. My resume and cover letter look great. 25 years on my resume that was 2 pages compressed into 1 modern look. And the price is fair for all you get.
