I'm pretty sure I liked the tool I bought. As of this BS coming though I could not tell anyone what the F_ I ordered. If I didn't like it I would have sent it back! Why do I have to fill out fifty five frickin surveys to order something the probably cost less than 20$. This is the kind of shait that makes me NOT come back to a website unless I absolutely have to...

I ordered $75.00 specialized wood chisel through Amazon who uses Tool Orbit As a third party supplier. I got an email notice that my package had arrived from Amazon. Instead of shipping my chisel, Tool Orbit stuffed 2 carpenters pencils inside. Initially, I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt, mistakes happen, but after unsuccessful attempts at contacting customer service, and reading some very unflattering reviews by other customers, I can only assume it was intentional. Sending the package back and will keep you updated on any positive or negative results.

I received 2 unsolicited emails in the same day. I would never buy anything from this company!
If they have to fill peoples inboxes with ads then they're doing something wrong!

I ordered a couple of parts online. I received one part right away. The second part never came and I got NO response when I tried to get updates. I just feel ignored. BAD Customer service. Will never order anything from this company again!

Pricing competitive but I have been waiting almost 3 months for a cordless circular that I could have bought at most local hardware stores. Ridiculous! Double thumbs down Will never use them again

After I recently purchased a Powermatic benchtop mortiser, I went to the Powermatic company website looking for the riser block I had read about in various woodworking forums. I had looked at many of the "usual places" and not found it, in keeping with the experience many others had reported.

I was surprised to see that I couldn't purchase the accessory directly from the manufacturer's site, but instead was encouraged to purchase from one of two listed "recommended" vendors. I selected ToolOrbit and made the purchase.

A couple of weeks after I received the order confirmation email I had still not heard from them (ToolOrbit) about shipping the part, so I contacted them, initially by email. I received a generic form letter which did not tell me anything about the status of my item, so I then telephoned the company.

I was told that the item was back-ordered and would not ship for approximately 2-3 *more* weeks, making it a 4-5 week delivery from the purchase date. Now, I was not in a huge hurry for the part and I would probably have been okay with waiting that long to receive it... if I had known when I ordered it, or had at least been told that after ordering it - without me having to wait, and then pry it out of them. I wasn't terribly happy with their service, and since I purchased a premium tool (Powermatic), I decided I should let them know about the performance of one of their recommended vendors. I then called Powermatic's customer service.

I spoke with a very helpful woman who took my information and said she'd look into it for me. A few hours went by and at about 5 pm that (Friday) evening, I received an email from the manager of the parent company of ToolOrbit (Eric House, GM of Toolmart), who explained what had happened and said they would waive all charges for this order and I would receive the part free of charge, due to their internal problems. He also said the part would be shipped "late next week" - and it was in fact 3 1/2 weeks later that I received it. And I was charged for the part - but not for the shipping.

All in all, I did receive the part, and they do indeed have good prices, but I can't recommend them very highly, due to their poor communications, both with the customer, and apparently internally as well.

I made a $162 order in May of this year and never received any tracking information. I have called customer service (once, everyday) and left several voicemails; they never answer the phone. I have attempted sending emails, also no response. It's disappointing, but I would just like my product or a refund.

My story is the same as many here, good products, good prices, terrible delivery, terrible customer support, deceptive buisness practices. If I wanted to get tools from the manufacturer I would contact them myself. Middle man sales, not real vendor. Called to check order, was told not in stock, awaiting delivery from source. Told them to cancelorder, was left on hold after that for 10 minutes so hung up. Sent 2 emails to cancel. They sent it 3 days later. If not such a pain to deal with, would return AND cancel CC transaction to avoid restock fees. I sell on Ebay, so will list there for profit for my troubles. ToolOrbit needs to fix it or leave it to professionals.

I made my order on August 10th and my tool was not shipped until September 10th! No notification about it shipping late, I even paid extra for 2 day shipping! If I had known this tool would not arrive until after my job was completed I wouldn't have ordered it or would have cancelled my order! I am very unsatisfied and disappointed!

Tried ordering tools on two separate occasions. Both times they took my order but with no message that it was back logged (out of stock). Waited for several weeks and called customer service. They mentioned it would be available the following Monday. Two weeks later called again and they told me they would ship that day and I would get an email confirmation. Nothing received. They lied. Canceled orders. Two separate orders 6 months apart. Same result. No more.

I needed a replacement blade for my Jet bandsaw. ToolOrbit was listed on Jet's website as vendor for replacement blades. After ordering the replacement blade from ToolOrbit, it arrived 28 days later. 4 weeks is simply an unacceptable wait time for a small business like ours. ToolOrbit may be fine for hobbyists, but for business owners and professionals I cannot recommend them as a vendor.

I received my ordered shipment in few days and the staff support was really good throughout the process. I would also like to recommend Toolorbit for their competitive prices. One can easily give them 4 out of 5 stars.

I purchased a drill press vice from ToolOrbit online. 2 weeks after ordering the item I called the company because it hadn't arrived yet. They didn't have stock of the item and were waiting on a delivery from the manufacturer. This was not made clear when i purchased the item.

When the item arrived the postman required extra payment to cover unpaid postage.
I paid ToolOrbit $11.41 for shipping.
They paid USPS $6.83.
When the item arrived I had to pay USPS an extra S8.28.

I emailed ToolOrbit twice regarding this issue. I said I was fine paying the total cost of shipping, but I felt I was owed the difference between the 11.41 I paid and the 6.83 they applied.

I received no response from ToolOrbit. I will never do business with them again.

Tip for consumers:
I wouldn't recomend you give them your business.

The ToolOrbit representatives kept me informed, and offered me alternatives for my order if I chose. Although the manufacturer did not meet the time estimate given to ToolOrbit, the hoist eventually arrived with no further interactions necessary, and I'm a happy customer.
