I have dozens of emails from a half dozen employees in an attempt to solve a billing/payment issue that is almost 4 months in the process. I have now given up. I believe that this company's billing practices are fraudulent. I have paid $43.95 for a charge of $18.38 for one item. Initially, I was told that the remaining item can't be shipped (I assume that means it is not available) and that a refund can't be processed until it is shipped. If that sounds unreasonable and like something out of Joseph Heller's novel Catch-22, that is surely the world Thomas Scientific lives in. In addition, although two items were ordered and only one shipped, the customer must pay an "all-order shipping charge" for the half order received. That charge was $24.00 but should have been $12.00 since no shipping effort was made or completed for the remaining item. Thomas Scientific has profited by at least $12.00 at my expense and there is no recourse, their communication lines being as convoluted as their logic. One can only wonder what they would profit if the order were larger and more expensive. Avoid them at all costs.
