To be honest, under normal circumstances, I'd probably give TheTopTens a 4/5, simply because it's not the best website out there, but its current rating is way too low. Are there bad seeds on TheTopTens? Of course, but the number of good users is far greater than that of the bad users, and even so, TheTopTens is not unique to being a mixed bag. And there's a little dilemma with some counter-arguments. Like the one that says "autistic community," for instance: yes, there are a lot of members of TheTopTens who have autism or Asperger's (I am not one of them, though,) but is it a sin to be different? No, it is not. God loves all of His children equally. And then there is an argument that most users are over aged, and lists are useless. Most lists can be informative, fun or both, and as for the age limit, is having fun exclusive to people under 30 years of age? There are a lot of users who have had problems (piplup, BananaBrain, SuperOnion, SpiritualSavedBoy, and Puga to name a few) but all the good users outweigh the bad. Htoutlaws2012 is revered as the "remix king," and he may have had some problems in 2015 or so, but he's a very productive user. THC13 is a 45 year old man and in many ways a voice of reason
So much hate for kids shows and Justin Bieber on there. Like just because you don't like something doesn't mean going to hell would be preferable over even hearing about them for 1 ms. This site is not only extremely biased and not that reliable if you're doing legitimate research on something, but there was also a bot-voting problem on that site and overall pointless/weird lists that shouldn't exist.
There are many positives and negatives to this site and as a user there I will now explain them.
First off, the administration is incredibly lazy. Abusive content is approved but if you dare to criticize another user, you'll get suspended. There's even some user there named piplup who makes sadistic lists that the administration approves. There are items spam voted everywhere. The community is extremely hypersensitive too probably because of the administration. Oh and if you curse you'll get suspended for that. If you can't control your urges to swear, don't go on here.
But on a positive note, it's a fun website to go on. I like it. I even have my own featured list there.
But if you like making lists this place is for you.
The site is pretty much a countdown based list of everything top 10 related, but like many other sites many items are added as well. Many hate at the community members for being ''autistic'' I got something to say to that half of the population suffers from that, but yes many visitors dislike the community just based off first impressions. Let's talk some good though I mean its not just lists that is the main primary of the site once becoming a member you end up seeing each everyone's personality trait right away. Some love to comment, others like to write long compelling blog posts. Point is the site does have features that you can use for your own voice of freedom. The site has changed its look, and settings over the years that older users maybe turned off this they move on from other callings, while many newcomers try to bring up new material in the meantime.

If you choose to go on this site beware if you can't respect an opinion then find another site simple as that.
