After waiting a month for these to arrive I am very disappointed. They taste disgusting, nothing like I expected. I knew they were dried but not to the point of being crunchy with not much flavour left in them. Overpriced and not nice at all.
I used the fruit on top of my yogurt or as a raw snack. So much better than normal dried fruit because there is no added sugar and it tastes better. It is also more dry so you have to get used to that.

Incredibly delicious snacks! It tastes like the perfect fresh summer berries but with a satisfying crunch! I can't have cereal without them now! I actually look forward to cereal each morning to put these delicious snacks on them! I was surprised to see some negative reviews about customer service because I've always had a wonderful and prompt experience.

I bought several different varieties of this fruit snack and all of them are delicious! They make a perfect snack to take hiking; light, tasty and satisfying and you don't have to worry about the fruit getting spoiled or bruised in your backpack. AND, freeze-drying fruit that would otherwise go to waste, what a fabulous innovation! :)
Took a chance on the from an ad. I like the concept. I ordered the"bits" box. It had 4 or 5 bags of various fruits, odd bits and powder, I assume it is leftovers of the process. I used this in smoothies and homemade granola so perfect pretty pieces were not needed. This as perfect for my needs and an even better deal. This was shipped quickly and packaged well. I'll be ordering again! I have recommended this to many friends already
I'll give two stars just because two of the six fruits I tried were very good. The rest tasted like old grass clippings to me. I contacted customer service and they literally told me it was my own fault and problem and then canceled my membership for complaining. I was simply looking to change what grow I recieved each month and needed assistance.
The quality of their products are what I imagine the quality would be if I had a freeze dryer and did my own. My favorites are the raspberries and the strawberries. I like to take them in my semi and eat them on top of yogurt. So yummy!
Excellent fruit, dried and very tasty, my particular bag was having it on yoghurt or breakfast cereal. I was going to try it in muffins but ate it all. Next time. Came pretty quickly and although I wouldn't say it was cheap the fruit was all first rate. I had a raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and blackberry mix
Let's compare apples and apples! Their apple snack contains 26 grams of dehydrated apple which equals 300 grams of fresh fruit. For the same price you could buy 1000 grams of apples which is over three times as much fruit. I just ordered a dehydrator for $50 and will be drying my won fruit from now on.
I was really excited to try this out because of what the company stands for and because of the large amounts of ads I had seen. However, it was super disappointing. First of all, it took over a month to get to me and they used some sketchy app (THAT PROVIDED NO UPDATES) for the actual delivery. When it got here, again I was super excited and was willing to forgive the one month wait but it just tasted terrible. I didn't mind the strawberries or blueberries but the raspberries and blackberries. I don't know it definitely didn't meet its standard. Just be aware that each bag (4 in the box) were about 22-28g which you're paying approximately $7 CAD. Nothing about this experience turned out good so I would not recommend. Just get fresh produce from the grocery store.
I bought "bits" pouches in random flavors, but mentionned in the comment section that I had a preference for berries. I'm really happy because that is exactly what they sent me: raspberries and blueberries. They are delicious and healty! They are really good in yogurt/oatmeal or cake frosting! I am really happy with my purchase even if it's a bit expensive.
Absolutely amazing idea! This company supply so many different freeze dried fruits that are bursting with flavour! We have probably tried about 80% of their range so far.
They supply them in recyclable packaging and deliver in a cardboard box,, they are thinking of the environment as well as their customers.
You even get a reward on your birthday!
What's not to love!?
Website advertises 4 to 5 days but the reality is over 2 weeks. Disappointing responses. My local grocery store started stocking freeze dried fruit for around half the price they retail it as as well, so look around before you buy. And many options are out of stock.

I apologize if we didn´t communicate our shipping speeds correctly. At the time you ordered one of our boxes, due to overwhelming demand, we were talking about 4 to 5 days to ship orders out, and that was the notice on the website. However, the 4 to 5 days is the time it took us to send your box out. It did not include the actual transit time that varies depending on where you live. Two weeks is the normal time it might take a box to arrive. I am sorry if our website didn´t make that clear.
I love this concept and products, it's heartbreaking to think that there's a lot of fruit going bad because the mainstream distribution will not work with small producers or oddly shaped products.
Then the product itself is amazing. I love having a healthy snack that is full of real flavor and not sugary.
I recommend and will continue to buy from them.
Despite following their cancellation policy and refraining from negative reviews until now, they refuse to address my proof that I paid for a 12 year subscription and want my money back. This fruit is not tasty at all. The customer service is horrible. One minute they say I cancelled and the next I am getting a notification about a shipment. They claim the had no record of me paying, they ignore me when I show my proof. Stay FAR AWAY from this company.

I am sorry to hear you didn´t enjoy our snacks. We have a no questions asked cancelation and refund policy on all our subscriptions, including the prepaid boxes, even if the cancelation request happens in the middle of the subscription period. While this has only happened a few times after having sold thousands of prepaid subscriptions, we always refund without question. The only amount that is not refunded is the bonus box we send out on the pre-paid 6-month subscription and the two bonus boxes on the 12-month subscription.

The Rotten Fruit Box is love at first sight. Even though I waited a little while for my order, it tasted amazing. I really liked the snacks from this store. And the concept itself is also very cool, I like that the creators of the site have found a new approach to food recycling. I'll order 100% on The Rotten Fruit Box more than once again.
I thought this sounded like a nice idea, but my box never arrived. They first said shipping was slowed bc of COVID. Then "Oh, it shipped today." Next, "We'll take off the extra $ for tracking." Then "We will take off $5 since it's late." How about refund my money?!

I am sorry to hear you didn´t have a positive experience. The Covid-19 worldwide lockdowns caught everyone by surprise: there were reduced flights and postal services were overrun with online orders from people staying at home. In light of this situation, and since it was impossible to predict delivery times (some orders were delayed a few days, a few, several weeks), we opted for a gradual refund policy and a total refund if a box got lost or didn´t show up. We were mostly applauded by our customers for this proactive stance in light of the uncertainty around Covid-19.
I can assure you that all our customers received their boxes, or a full refund in a timely manner, for any box that was undelivered or delivered late because of Covid-19. While I am certain your order was handled in a similar manner, should for whatever reason that not be the case, all you need to do is send us a quick email.

I bought a variety pack and loved every fruit even ones i dont normally like when fresh. Peach and pineapple were my highlights. Will order agsin as soon as olives are back in stock and some other new fruits added recently. Keep up the good work.
I think I might be addicted to these things. I ordered a few just to try and loved them so much I placed a monthly box order. Customer service is wonderful too. Can't wait to try a few new ones next month! I'm finding lots of ways to use them too.
