I'm very disappointed! It's been several months and I still have not received a final product. I am demanding my MONEY back asap!

I was called by a sales rep promoting an ad campaign at Boston Pizza from Nov/23-Apr/24. It sounded like a great opportunity as I was trying to build up local clientele - however it turned out to be a HUGE waste of money.

When I was contacted, I was told my ad would play on 1 table top sign PER table = 45-50 at the restaurant but when I went by Nov. 3, there were only 10 & my ad wasn't on any.

I followed up to complain & was told the ad would be loaded, but there were only 10 signs.

I told them I wasn't happy & wanted a refund, but they had a 5 day cancellation window from the date of processing the order only. The invoice showed the duration of the campaign (6mths), not the quantity of signs I was told I'd receive (50 vs. 10) so I filed a complaint with Visa.

They refunded the charge, but later reversed it since some level of service was still provided. Visa said they agreed but had no choice to reverse the charge & directed me to filing a consumer complaint with the BBB & a couple of other organizations.

I feel like Marc Advertising misrepresented what they were offering & need to update their business practices to better describe the scope of what they are selling. Further, the cancellation window should extend to the time the campaign starts, when customers can actually see what they are getting vs. what they are told.

Horrible experience, they call you and promise the world. They tell you a date that the advertising will be done but then it not done, excuse after excuse. They said when I paid in May 2022 that I would be on front of bag, paid $ 1000.00 or just about and I am on bottom re: side of a bag where can't see me, complete joke for a $ 1000.00. I could have made up 500 bags with my advertising all over the bag and gave to a local store for $ 1000.00 if not less. The bags are nothing special. MARC told me would be in store end of October, early November for Christmas season. Store received January 20th because I complained enough. MARC lied though and pretend two times the bags were in the store or sent to store late October and November. I see what they do, they promise the world but then have to get enough advertisers to fill up the bag. Can't even see me, complete joke. Did not tell me that Home Hardware would be on whole front of bag when they pay nothing. In fact I called other people that advertised on the bag in past and some said it took a year and a half, they said horrible experience and never deal with them again. If you google reviews and complaints re: MARC you will see not to advertise with them! Nothing I can do as they cover themselves. There are more complaints just have to google both MARC group and MARC advertising. I called 4 people and they all said a nightmare.
