I ordered a washer and dryer online, it said it will be a few days away. After rescheduling 3 times as they were a no-show, it's now been 6 weeks and I can't get a human to help me. Their bot puts you in circles and each customer service person tells you to ring another number and it's not their department.
I am currently on call waiting for a little over 2 hours trying to find my order that just says "waiting to be picked up".

I purchased a Weber bbq on TGG online store. After waiting for it to come in stock I was sent a message that delivery would be Sunday 11 December. After waiting at home all day (like so many other things I could have been doing) no delivery. No message. Following up today meant over 2 hours waiting on the phone in various calls. Disconnected twice. Every staff member couldn't care less. Eventually I cancelled the order with a store manger, who also couldn't care less.
My advice? Buy what's we you need from Harvey Norman. I will NEVER. Shop from TGG again
I purchased two TVs and advised the store that delivery must be made not the next day but two days later.This was agreed by the store.
The delivery of one TV was delayed and when I called to ask why there was a delay, the store manager, Katrina was rude, hung up the line and when I called back, said nothing could be done about ensuring delivery was made on the agreed date. Instead of apologizing she was rude and yelling over the phone.
Terrible service and this store could not care less about their customers. Be careful when you do business with them and avoid this store if you can.
I have shopped at The Good Guys Pakenham several times for items large and small over the past five years. Each time I have received excellent service and been very happy with the products I purchased. During my most recent experience with them I was assisted by Kyle. He was knowledgeable and helpful while I chose which item would best meet my needs. My thanks to Kyle and all the team at the Pakenham store, they all do great work.
Reading other reviews I can see service here leaves a lot to be desired. In researching a large purchase I have visited both Auburn and Castle Hill stores twice each in the last two weeks, wandered around for almost 20 minutes and each time and was never even remotely attended to. It's now over 2 months that nobody from Good Guys (GG) in Cockburn central bothered to resolve the problems I'm facing with a purchase. I have been to the store on many occasions but was asked to call & email a manager named Cilla. Left so many massages for her and sent email but none returned.
This led me to lodge a complaint with the Consumer Protection department & I'm yet to receive a phone call from GG's. It seems no one is bothered. The have a bunch of unqualified staffs unable to deal with after purchase matters. The manager isn't doing her job & should be fired immediately. Hope someone from corporate office takes a quick action to resolve my issues. I haven't got much time left.
I edge all customers who may be tempered buy their slogan "payless- pay cash" take heed not to fell into their trap. The prices may look better but other retailers like Harvey Norman are far better in terms of prices & after purchase services & hence they will match any prices. Harvey Norman has a professional team, and they take after sale matters seriously in providing continued services. Customers should also consider Officeworks for computer stuffs and avoid Good Guys altogether.
Our Samsung TV has been faulty now for the last 3 weeks - no screen display, turned all dark.
I bought the TV with Concierge service for additional warranty some 3 years ago.
Reported the faulty TV to Good Guys' Concierge service who referred me to their underwriters D&G, and we had a visit from Woolleys, their contracted repairer, almost 2 weeks ago. Repeatedly I followed up on any repair or replacement action with GG concierge service, D&G and Woollys.
Apparently Samsung Australia is involved as well whether it is replacement/or repair.
So 4 parties involved and after almost 3 weeks no resolution! They all just pointing fingers.
You really wonder whether the Concierge service is of any value at all!
If this goes on much longer I have on option other then to complain to ACCC.
Do not order online with these guys. Bought an item, they said the delivery date was 7/11/2022 and when it was not delivered the delivery system crashed and said my docket was no longer valid. It is now the 10/11/2022 and I absolutely cannot get in touch with any person from customer support - or anyone apart from the actual stores (who can't help anyway). Starting to feel like I have lost my money and consumer affairs need to get involved. So dodgy. Really wish I had of read these other reviews first. Don't know why they think they should be able to get away with it.
Soon as you pay and organize delivery it goes to an out sourced company. They are hopeless.
I bought 3 things. Told 2-4 days delivery. They came on the wrong day. Forgot 3rd thing. It has been over a week waiting. I paid for delivery and fitting. Everything was place on floor on Friday afternoon. Needed tools to fit the stuff. Complete joke and still is unfolding. Very dissatisfied, If fridge isn't here tomorrow I intend to cancel this part of the order and go else where.

My review is about the customer service which is terrible. We bought this fridge which was not on floor, was told another one was quite similar, when received noticed it was a lot smaller than our needs, tried to swap for a bigger one but they suggested me to sell on FB markeplace or Gumtree! They could not accept it back because the delivery guy took the package and if back they would take 20% off the price! And they still call them 'The Good Guys"?
Went to Ballarat Good Guys on 11/10/22 to get a price on a Smart TV. Found the model after waiting 15 minutes for customer service and was given their "Best Price" quote which was the same as the shelf price. I advised the uninterested sales person that I was going price shopping. Went to the nearby opposition and couldn't believe the difference. Customer service was immediate and excellent, I received an excellent price after a bit of bartering and made my purchase. Telly delivered and working perfectly. On 8/10/2022 We went to Good Guys carseldine and bought Dishwasher and a Fridge. The sales person was Francois D. We were extremely appalled by the rude nature of the sales person with no time to talk. He stated that he is too busy to answer any queries because he had 3 other customers to serve. He stated " if you need my time come in the weekdays. Weekends are too busy for me'. You can check we have been a regular customer of good guys as well as my son(Sanchito Banerjee). This is the first time we experienced such an arrogant behaviour. The receipt number for fridge is S*******030.

The good guys wanted to open a online selling.to save on worker wages, and maybe to make it easier on the stores.
But they are not ready for it.
They don't know how to work online... i bough and pay for delivery, was supposed to come the day after.
Now we are a week after... no one over there know where it is, or when it will come.
I spend and still spending my time on the phone. 7 hours yesterday, 2 hours today and counting.
Would have taken me 20 min drive to the store and buy it direct.
