TestGuerilla is nothing but a clever tool that employers can use to discriminate against applicants — with or without the test results. It gives hiring managers a way to reject people automatically, with no explanation and no chance to appeal. The platform hides behind "objective testing" while keeping everything about the scoring secret. It's a black box that promotes unfairness rather than fairness. For a company claiming to make hiring more inclusive, this feels like the exact opposite. If you're a job seeker, be cautious. And if you're an employer, think twice before relying on this system to represent your company's values.
OMG. I tried the application, and signed up for a monthly billed plan because i didn't know if we would use it. I ded ½ a test and found out it wasn't for us. I canceled the plan... but now i saw that the monthly bills kept comming... Reach out to support and they told me I had committed for a year even though it was monthly payments... The supporter stated he couldn't do anything - it was company policy... I just have to say, software and UX might be good, but the costumer handling is the worst i have ever seen. Fist of all - bnot able to call them, the chat is a bot, and when you finally reach a human, you are met with preconfigured answers... I now have to cancel my creditcard and åprovide a review of this none-existing -costumer-service experience... Find another tool before you get sucked in...
One of the main reasons I chose Test Gorilla was to create tasks for technical roles. However, over time, I've realized that the tasks on the platform don't quite meet our company's expectations and are unable to fully assess our candidate's technical skills. They are either too simple or too difficult, and some of our candidates also find technical tasks irrelevant for assessing their skills and are unwilling to complete them. Considering all of this, we have decided not to use the platform in our hiring process in 2025 and to return to our own assessment methods.
Since we didn't cancel the subscription, the annual package was renewed. After contacting them immediately to say that we didn't wish to use the product, we requested a refund for the subscription fee. However, our refund request was rejected. Despite repeatedly stating that we will not be using their platform, they are refusing to refund our payment. Customer representatives are not helpful at all and keep dismissing the issue by saying it's company policy. We had a very bad experience with this. It is truly disappointing that we have made a payment for a platform we are dissatisfied with and will not be using...
What else to say. I used for 1.5yrs and have switched to another product.
How can customer service really not be cooperative?
It's an ok site but nothing special to tell you the truth. I'm not sure if I could recommend it. Keep trying.
I tried TestGorilla for a hiring test for my current job. The overall user experience is below par and the results were generic. We decided to redo the hiring test manually.
Can't really see the usage of the site. Tried many times to get something out, but didn't succeed. Avoid
The integration with my daily processes were not so satisfactory, the platform could have fit better with my needs.
I'm so disappointed from the overall experience on the TestGorilla website. I found it really tricky to browse the website. Generally, it was complex and difficult. Also, it navigation was really time-consuming. I was unsatisfied with the product tour too as well as the pricing for the service it offers. I won't recommended for your testing needs.
I regret to say that my experience with TestGorilla was highly disappointing. The platform fell short of my expectations in every aspect. The user interface was clunky and unintuitive, making it a frustrating and time-consuming process to navigate. Additionally, the selection of tests offered was limited and did not cover the range of skills I was looking to assess. The customer support was practically non-existent, with slow response times and unhelpful assistance. Overall, TestGorilla left me feeling unsatisfied and with a lingering sense of wasted time and resources. I would strongly advise against using this platform for your testing needs.
I don´t recommend ever, it doesnt respond quickly to what i have expected when I have tried for.
Awfull assistance!
I didn't like the way things are done on the site. Complicated and very time-consuming...
Could have been a great tool for recruitment, but according to my experience it doesn't work like promised
TestGorilla could have been a great idea, but in the real world doesn't work. I had to search for a long time and I couldn't find anything related to my field of expertise. The website is not that easy to navigate and it wasn't that helpful.
Didn't like the website. Couldn't find what I was looking for today. Hope they can do better next time.
This platform doesn't make much sense. It has inappropriate tests in applicability for some works. Don't recommend.
Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied. I expected more from the platform, it did not meet my expectations
I was looking for a simple and empathetic solution for my professional relocation process. I've been going through difficulties and this test managed to make everything more difficult and complicated.
I hope they can improve the tool in favor of those looking for a new job opportunity.
I recently had an experience using Testgorilla, and I must say, I was somewhat disappointed with the overall performance of the website.Furthermore, I encountered some technical issues while using Testgorilla. The website occasionally lagged or crashed, resulting in frustration and wasted time. In a fast-paced hiring process, such technical glitches can be detrimental and hinder the efficiency of the evaluation process.
