Don't be fooled as I was by the excellent pre-sales customer support

This is actually a revision of my initial 5 star glowing review that I posted a few days after purchasing a TM package.

Before I go any further - The TM templates are fantastic!
- They look professional and polished and you get excited to think soon your business web site will look similar.

I decided it would be easier to deal with TM for my web site production thinking they know their own templates as such a more simplified process when compared to me handing the template over to a 3rd party web developer.

Over the past few weeks I have grown more and more frustrated at the lack of transparency with this company.

When I initially contacted sales I asked direct questions and was provided with direct answers, and those answers have turned out to be completely false.

I purchased $1500 USD of gift cards to be used towards a template and the creation or a new web site.

I agreed to purchase after being told clearly that I will ONLY deal with US based project manager however I expected the work will be completed by a production team likely located outside USA.

I was OK with that as I was lead to believe my primary contact or project manager (PM) would be based in Florida USA as such no issues with language/communications.

That is completely false.
- The PM I have been assigned is obviously not US based.
- The fake names and photos is nearly an insult when it is obvious. ESL
- The communication issues to date are making my project very challenging to say the least.

I was also told that the PM I would be assigned would work similar hours to me.
- Being based in Australia this was important to me and I deliberately asked that question prior to deciding to purchase a package.

I was initially assigned a PM 'Dakota" who not only worked the exact opposite hours to Australian business hours but also had great difficulty with the comprehension of written instruction.

I complained to the PM about the hours (I left out the fact they don't understand English well enough to act in the role of PM)

After a week of treading water with PM "Dakota" I was assigned another PM who I was told works 4-11 p. M EST time.
- I still receive emails at 9PM...

TM state you can chat to your assigned PM via their live chat portal.
- On 2 occasions to date I have been told I am chatting with the PM assigned to me and the name of the chat agent is indeed the name I was told I have been assigned.
- However that chat agent has no knowledge of the email sent by apparently the very same person only a few minutes ago.
- When asked directly are you the person emailing me, the agent refuses to answer.

So it has been 3 weeks since I Paid TM $1500 USD
- The last email I received was a few days ago sent by the PM (at 7pm in the evening) that said and I quote... " Your project has been forwarded to production. I will notify you once there is any news on it"

Congrats to the sales agent as you had me convinced!
- Buyers remorse has set in...

My advice:
- Buy the template, skip the web design services completely.

Do not be oblivious to what you are actually purchasing

This operator does not allow you to even raise your problem and you will end up with the word "unfortunately" 10 times or more.

She doesn't even greet you with a "Hi" when she enters the conversation.
She doesn't evenlet you to talk with other operators.
So you can't get rid of her.

Update: My finally review of template monster
August 29, 2019

This is the update: 2 weeks after I got that infamous phone call, I got another call yesterday from the same guy that tried to blackmail, who I nearly hung up on when I found out who it was, but this time he called to apologize and offer me $100 credit on their site and free hosting for a year. Based on what I had to do to get this, it kinda left a bitter taste in my mouth. Although, I have to give it to them, they didn't mention or suggest this time around that I take my reviews down. I really would have lost it if they tried that crap again. Don't get me wrong, I'm still pissed about what happened but, not that many companies offer compensation or even give a crap, but in saying that I would have preferred they do this earlier when I told them the problems I've had and asked many times for that refund. My final review to those that are thinking of getting a template from these guys is that, it is really just going to be the luck of the draw on some of these templates. I've bought 2 templates now from these guys and the first time went pretty smoothly with not much hassle but that was for my magento 1 where the code was quite a bit less complicated from what I understand and this time was the upgraded 2 called Ketty Fashion template.
I've looked up some of the elements on the template and it has a crap tonne of nice extras, It will take a few weeks for me to go through them and the customization ability is impressive but you'll need a few days of messing around with it to understand the full scope of what you can do. I'm no way taking away the focus of the glitches that I've experienced and that the techs at siteground has informed me about but I've looked at the cost of how much some of these functionalities cost on its own and it's pretty impressive they charged me $179 for this, and I've done my homework with companies like spotify, Volusion and a tonne of others all charge an arm and a leg. If you have a good financial backing for a website, then those I think are a good choice since its easier and less hastle but I wanted it all, a versatile website with costs that won't break my bank. Do your homework and if you decide to get a template from these guys, make sure you pay with Paypal, cause if something goes wrong, those guys have your back and you won't have lost everything, just your time.

SOLD UNWORKING TEMPLATE / NO REFUND - FILE A COMPLAIN ON BBB.ORG AGAINST JETIMPEX, INC

We bought wordpress/woocommerce template (name FairyStyle) from Templatemonster.com. Paid to company JETIMPEX, INC who operate Templatemonster.com

They sold unworking / old version of software which not working with current releases of Wordpress 5 / Woocommerce 3.5 software. Templatemonster.com hidden information that template not updated / not supported by them for last two years and cannot use with current versions of Wordpress / Woocommerce software.
Purchased software files last time modified in May 2017 year (near two year ago!).

I am professional developer and my colleague, other professional developer, cannot install that template which we bought on our new server. We tried different ways but every time received message from Wordpress/Wocommerce that need to contact with author of software for receive updated version.

We spoke with Seller by phone - Seller confirmed that this software not working with latest version of Wordpress/Woccommerce and
Offer to use old version of Wordpress/Woccommerce. We don't agree on it. Nobody use old versions of Wordpress/Woccommerce because they have security issues and all sites recommend to update to latest version of software.
For example many articles on internet strongly recommend to update WooCommerce to versions 3. 4. 6 or higher (Versions 3. 4. 5 and earlier are affected by a handful of issues that allow Shop Managers to exceed their capabilities and perform malicious actions). But Seller told us to use version WooCommerce 3.0

I recommend to everybody file a complain against JETIMPEX, INC. (owner of templatemonster.com) on Better Business Bureau - goto on bbb.com, find JETIMPEX, INC., 2711 Centerville Road, Suite 400, Wilmington, DE ******* and click to "File A Complain"
