The top layer is all shiny and glitter. But wait until you are in production and work there a while. You notice the toxicity. At the moment a huge group is waiting for a part of their salary that should have been paid out on May 15th. And every time lame excuses. Or worse, no answer at all. It is our money, we worked for that in APRIL. You are not following the signed contract TaskUs and this is against the law. It's not the first time they don't pay out. And there are often errors in their payments. You need to check them! This company only wants people without brain (or people who can leave it home) and who don't mind not following the GDPR or the laws of their countries. Further, they simply don't care. Their excuse "It's the client who wants it this way". According to EU laws a company hired by another company to do jobs still is responsible for the fact that they are not following the law. Even when their client requests this. This means TaskUs, when you are not following GDPR you can get fined up to 20 million euros, or in the case of an undertaking, up to 4 % of your total global turnover of the preceding fiscal year, whichever is higher. There is more, their new buildings are in a red light district. Over half of the people working 24/7 is female. The shortest way to home after late shift (or to nightshift) might not be safe. Sex clubs, street prostitution. Man driving by, slowing down, when you walk there, shouting to you. Even worse when you walk with a male colleague. Thessaloniki is safe, but this area isn't at night time when you are not a prostitute. If you like being checked with body scans, including shoes (they'll start doing mouth checks as soon as they discover there is a hug amount of space to hide things... Don't tell them), multiple times. Needing to pull up your shirt because your belt is giving a "beep". I would understand this when you work with financials. But content moderation! They forget we have brains where we store information (o, no, we were told told toe leave our brains at home) compared to a screenshot, I think the brain wins. My advise, skip this company. In the same street there is another BPO that isn't the best either, but they are less humiliating than this one.
