The items I ordered were on sale but many items were put on back order after I ordered them and was charged full retail price for them! The order took about a month to get all items. Then one of the kvd 1.5 square bill crainkbaits I ordered was replaced with a deep diving round bill. Never again! Lesson learned! Fool me once shame on you! Fool me twice just aint gonna happen!
TackleDirect shipped heavy jigs in an envelope. The jigs wore a hole in the envelope and arrived scratched and bent. I sent an email to the order department after I placed a second order requesting the jigs be shipped in a box. The second order was also shipped in an envelope and arrived bent and scratched. Heavy jigs need to be shipped in a box.
I waited 2 weeks to recieve my order.
When they finally arrived, several items were missing.
The reason given was that they were out of stock.
When I originally placed order on line there was no indication on site that these items were out of stock.
The items that i did recieve after waiting 2 weeks, I replaced elsewhere.
Now I am waiting for a return authorization sticker or label so I can return merchandise that I no longer need and get a refund on my credit card.
Hopefully, I will be able to return unwanted items.
I fully understand the problems companies are having due to the Covid 19 Virus.
However, not marking items on your site,out of stock is not exceptable.

None were delivered on time. (Backordered)
One of the rods I ordered arrived with 3 broken guides.
I called and was told that I would have to ship the rod back before you would send a replacement. So, I ordered a rod to replace the broken one (Paid for it) and was told that they would send the postage so I could return the broken rod and be reimbursed. The rod arrived, but no postage (The broken rod is still in my garage)
I've had nothing but problems with your company and have told, and will continue to tell everyone I know not to purchase ANYTHING from your company.

I received my package and it was damage including the the fishing pole inside,I send you guys the picture and I even called FedEx which they gave me a claim number which also I send to you and yet I got no response back.plesse look at the Email that I send and all I want is a replacement for the damage rod or my money back.Ty.

I bought a Daiwa Tanacom electric reel through Tackle Direct. They ran a special promotion that included a free spool of braided line with the purchase on an electric reel. Not only was the price really fair, but the free line made it a steal of a deal. They not only included the line but they spooled the new reel with the braided line by a professional. They followed my specific directions to the T, and they did it FAST. I was highly satisfied with my purchase from Tackle Direct, and I will buy again from them. Thank you TD!
Cant get a hold of anyone on the phone for hours no response to email my order is ******* it's a 5 foot 6inch ugly stik I e mailed if it cant be delivered by may 10 2020 I want a full refund I got no answer on phone or e mail and please dont blame the virus.
Orderd 3 item's. On delivery only 2 arrived. Called Tackle Direct and they stated one Item was backordered. Approximately a week later received the backordered item.
Just would have appreciated if they let me know the item was backordered.
Company should contact customer instead of customer having to contact company on the whereabouts of a paid for item.
The high end Loomis NRX Rod that I ordered ($525) snapped in half in the first week of use bringing in a small bass. I called TD and explained the issue and they referred me to Loomis for the warranty issue. It cost me an additional $40 to ship the broken rod back to them and two weeks to wait for a replacement to be dropped off. In my opinion, TD should have replaced this rod no questions asked given the circumstances. I wasn't overly thrilled with this experience and I'm not sure how comfortable I feel buying high end gear there. I want to love this place because it's in NJ and the store has an impressive inventory...
Great customer service. I recieved a 200 dollar reel by mistake in place of 25 dollar lures. I called and the exchange was made andcshipped to another address before a sceduled trip. Keep up the great work.
My dissatisfaction was related to a previous order I tried several times through email to contact customer service and finally two months later someone wrote me that they had canceled my order I hope I got my money back
I am extremely impressed with both the quality of customer service an the timing of the delivery. My impression of tackle direct has not changed since my last few purchases, nor do I think it will. Overall, I am extremely impressed and pleased with my product and purchasing it from tackledirect. Definetly will shop here again!

1 month before getting 1 rod is pretty bad. Shipping is pathetic when you order 1 rod on the 3rd of the month and do not get it until the 30th, that's not very good I would say... but as for as the rod goes its super...
I didn't open the "Tube" that the rod was shipped in until almost 6 weeks after I received it, when I did open it,I found that 6" of the rod tip was broken off. Since i was past the 30 day to return it,I didnt bother calling about it.
Overall I'm happy with my shopping experience and the products that I purchased. The only issue was that I placed my order on Friday for Next Day shipping and did not receive it until Tuesday. I would have liked to receive my product sooner since I paid extra for Next Day shipping.
Disappointing you didn't have much of my order in stock...I wouldn't have ordered what I did if I would have known how long it would take to get it. I received most of it long after it was needed. Hopefully due to Covid. But I have no way of knowing so I'm not confident in ordering in the future.
Answer: Yes, other companies I have used for online purchases are much better with communications and customer service.
