I left the website long ago after losing money by paying for the shipping of my items and never receiving items in return. Unfortuately I had 5 trades at one time and in 4 of the 5 transactions I was 'ripped' off due to mail fraud. There was absolutely NO Customer Support and even worse I felt the company considered my frustrations as overreacting. It would seem to me that the website has gained an influx of individuals that realize that the website is an easy community to introduce mail fraud to with little or no consequence. Seriously, heed my advice, Customer support is horrible! There are better similar sites on the web and I strongly advise avoiding this website.

I have used Swaptree a number of times without any problem. But on my last trade, my trading partner reported that she did not receive the book I sent. I was not worried since I had the Post Office receipt showing the date, time and place it was sent to. Still, it did not show up, and it was obviously lost or stolen from the mail. Swaptree did not accept this, and started harassing me about "book not sent", leading up to multiple e-mails to me, incessent threats, and now suspension of my account. This, after I sent them a copy of the PO receipt, proving I was not at fault. They will not retrun my e-mail questions, and I cannot get in touch with anyone who can resolve this for me. Their customer support SUCKS! I am an honest businessman, and strongly resent their implication that I am a thief or a crook. STAY AWAY from this site!

I set up an account came back a few weeks later to put my haves and wants. I found that I could get the books I wanted. I was sent a few responds to trade. I went to accept. I found I had forgotten my password. I tried several times to go through there process of changing it but it would not finish. Once I had gotten to the trade mode I was redirected to put in the password but of course I couldn't because I didn't have it. I tried again and again to get a new password and I was instead sent to the accept or reject window. It was a never ending circle. I sent two emails to asking for help but no one responded. Now I can't get into the swaptree web site at all. I was excited to get started now I will have to find a new place to trade my books

After 200 trades, i sent a book which was not received. I contacted the other party, went to ebay, and paid for them to get a book which was received. For this they gave me a bad review. Now my account is restricted and i cannot contact anyone at swaptree. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I cannot get them to respond. However they are making a mint off of the small service fee they charge. I do think they offer a valuable service but there are a lot of holes in it and THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
