“Enjoyed our great vacation!”

10/13/19

My husband purchased their promotion of 2 6day/5night all inclusive resort stays and a 8day cruise for a cheap price. At first I was like WHAT! Monitored are credit cards for a while, nothing happened. Then decided to try and book a trip. First off, and this is the only negative thing, they told my husband they would change the age of our kids since one of them was already 13... well he did change the wording from 12 and under to under 13... which is the same thing. Tried to fix this, but everyone told us to email the guy my husband talked to. We did 3 times with no response. Found out it would cost around 2000$ to bring our 13yr old. So my husband and I decided to just go ourselves. Now I was expecting to call and never get a response and just chuck the money we gave a loss, but that is not what happened. They responded super fast through email with an updated list. Once I picked our location they contacted the resort and the rest of the dealing was with the resort, which went super easy. Once arriving to the resort, it was beautiful and very clean. We picked the Villa del Palma in Cabo. 5 star hotel. Most everything was included. There are premium cuts of beef and seafood like lobster that are not included but you get 40%off if you decided to do that. But there was enough other reasturants and food to choose from. All of it was delicious! All alcohol was included as well! Our bill was only a few dollars for a 3.50 day fee for cleaning. Now this was the resort we picked, could be set up differently for other resorts. The only thing that we didn't like was the presentation you have to do. It turned into a 3hr deal not 90mins. And again probably different with each resort. But can't complain, we got a pretty cheap vacation out of it. Now to book my cruise! I would recommend using this company. I was for sure it was a scam, but turns out it wasn't! Give it a shot if they call you.

“2019 Sun Beach International Vacation Promo SCAM!”

THIS IS A POST WITH THE SAME TITLE ON TRIPADVISOR WITH MY EXPERIENCE BELOW: Never give out your credit card info or any other information to a company selling vacation package deals at a discount! I recently made the mistake of answering a phone call that put me through to a representative for a vacation deal company entitled Sun Beach International. They claimed that for a reduced fee starting around $1100US one can have a 5 nights six day 5 star vacation for two adults and two children under 12. Your choice from a myriad of 5 star resorts in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Bali, Orlando Florida plus a bonus 5 day cruise vacation. They are slick, smooth and enticing, but what they offer begins to sound more outrageous as time goes on and one resists giving them credit card info. They gave me the entire spiel about what all was included, asking me to get a pen and paper to write it all down, which I did. It sounded magnificent. At first I thought they were offering the package for free as a promotion and I'd probably have to walk through a tour of the resort I chose and then give a review on it, which I wouldn't mind doing for everything I was getting. I checked their website while I was talking and seemed OK although I should have checked to see if it was secure. It was not. I got my wife to call their number and after waiting a minute on the automated operator an actual person came on to assist with questions. So it "seemed" normal enough. Then the price tag came, which sounded incredible for everything offered. They wanted a total of $699 us for two adults and two children, plus a $99 one-time fee at booking fee. They started by saying my wife and I would have 2 years to book my trip and a "bonus" cruise that they threw in. When I resisted, stating that I needed time to think, they tweaked the trip more to make it more enticing. Then they said that we needed only to pay a down payment of $298.00 US. That is were I flinched. Eventually, the caller put me on the phone with another person, the "verifier" in the verifications dept as he had described. Here is were they failed to meet they're presented deal. They original promotion rep told me that some of the 5 star resorts that were included were The Dreams Resort and the Secrets Resort, both in Mexico. The verifications rep stated that those two were not part of the package that I agreed to. So I was out my down payment because I did make the horrible mistake of giving my Card number to them. Do not make this mistake! They will also send you info via email about sending your driver's licence with everything but your name and photo blocked out as a means for them to verify your credit card. Do not do this! There is no reason for it according to any law in North America including Mexico. When I attempted to retrieve my down payment I light of the fact that they misrepresented the deal in regards to the two resorts I listed the verifications rep stated that the deal was none refundable and didn't care what I threatened to do-- even call the police! -- there was no way they were returning my money. I'm not saying you wouldn't possibly get a trip out this process but I am certain it will not go according to the way they state it will happen -- perhaps 3 star accommodations during hurricane season or a cruise on a gambling vessel were you end losing even more money. I will be fighting out it now my bank to retrieve the money but there is even more time wasted. Live and learn! Even the most discerning can be roped into something on an off day. My advice, don't answer the phone unless your call display is from someone you know. And remember, "if it's too good... well, you know the rest. I received the same phone call from SUN BEACH INTERNATIONAL posted as TRAVEL PAYMENT BENITO JUAREZ on my credit card statement and filed a fraud dispute with American Express. I was under the influence of a new drug and I was extremely happy even elated that day I received the call. My mental capacity was diminished and I agreed to $2,680 CDN for 10 nights in an all inclusive 5 star resort and a Crystal or Disney Cruise, I even paid more to upgrade to a Balcony suite. Well when the information finally came hours after I agreed to authorize my credit card and after I sent them my DL with a photo of me I started to realize the scam was not the great deal I've heard of people getting just for agreeing to go to a timeshare presentation. I filed a dispute with American Express explaining about the bait and switch and professional methods they led me down the garden path and even described my diminshed mental capacity. I was outright DENIED. I submitted everything the Mexican timeshare company had sent me as well as the information I am providing here and American Express said, too bad you authorized the transaction. I am under extreme stress considering these people have my legal name, my identification, my home address, my credit card number, my birthday all the private information they need to steal my identity. I went crazy and filed a report with the RCMP Anti Fraud Agency, Profeco the Mexican Consumer Service Agency, I had to put fraud alerts with both credit bureaus, I cancelled my American Express card and ordered a new one and still Amex doesn't care. American Express denied the 3 disputes I placed with them stating that I authorized the payment and TRAVEL PAYMENT BENITO JUAREZ is a merchant of theirs so they will protect the merchant over the client. So I felt resigned to go ahead and complete the transaction and submitted my request to book a resort and go the timeshare presentation in Mexico. The problem is that the timeshare company sent me an email stating: Dear Laura, Thank you for your reservation request. It has come to my attention that you had a dispute with the bank with regard to your package. If you wish to continue with your reservation please send us a copy of the notification from your bank that states your request was denied and you were not refunded the money you requested. Once we receive a copy of this we shall be happy to recommence processing your reservation request. We look forward to hearing from you.
